According to sources on the Hill, there is growing support among Senate Republicans to support Sens. Cruz and Lee's efforts to scuttle Sen. Harry Reid's attempt to reinstate ObamaCare funding in the House Continuing Resolution...
According to Hill sources, over 20 GOP Senators are set to buck Leadership on Friday and reject this procedural game, by voting against cloture. By some accounts, up to 30 Senators could vote against GOP Leadership, which would represent an existential crisis within the caucus. McConnell and Cornyn have publicly put their reputations on the line. If more than half the caucus votes against them, the center of power within the Senate Republicans will have shifted. ...........

Several bikers visited Mc Connel’s office this weekend. There is a three day trucker rally scheduled for DC in October.

Is not the West Virginia Senator (Democrat) Joe Manchin going to vote with the Conservatives too; think that has been in the news.
I’m sure the story has been posted.
this is what I think this is about. Notice the author says this will most likely fail.
I think after this bout of bad government gone wild I think we need to make some amendments for senators and all other congressman that they cannot pass legislation that they are exempt from, that they must live homeless for a period of 3 months and do 3 months of community service so they can develop compassion for their fellow man before they can even be considered for public office, and new provisions for term limits based upon performance. Time to put the evil ones on the streets. No more of this nonsense. We’ve been way too tolerant and this is where its gotten us.
We probably won’t get 41 if McConnell and Cornyn don’t weasal out, because all they need is McCain, Graham, Collins, Corker, and Alexander, and probably also have Murkowski. Hatch just got back so he has nothing to worry about, but everyone else might be released to vote against cloture for political cover (i.e. Coburn, Chambliss, Ikkason, etc).
The good news, however, is if this gets to 30+ Senators, that should be enough to put pressure on the House Leadership and strengthen the Tea Party conservatives there from backing down when they get the crap bill back from Reid. That’s info for Gohmert to use.
Good observation.
It’s hard for a lot of us to know the intricacies involved here, sounds like the House can still act on this. Good.
Thanks! Happy to do so!
May I use you to defend my repeated posting should I get crosswise AGAIN with the Admin. Mod.?
Be leery of The One’s trickery and deception though. He could easily put up false websites to spin the numbers to make it look like there are more Senators on board than there really are to ive a sense of false security o that prople lessen their efforts. I put nothing past the AntiChrist in office. The man is aware that everyone refers to him as the AC and revels in it.
If enough dems vote this way expect the hold out Rs to delay their votes till the very last. Chicken Senate style!
My hope is that all of the Traitors and at least 5 Democrats do what our Nation needs: A rebellion against the tyranny of Obama and his henchmen and women.
Great news!
CRUZ MISSILE!
I love that!
Second it. Keep posting. It’s not only convenient but a good reminder
There will be just enough RINO votes (by the RINOs who need to be voted back into office sooner) to say “see we tried to stop OCare” but not quite enough to actually stop it. They’re playing games with us.
Lee said 15 maybe up to 20. Originally it was 13 signed the pledge.
Definitely suspenseful now to see how many.
Need 41
I think that's making the difference. Go Freepers!!!
Thank you, thank you, for that information! I appreciate it very much.
I don’t think Coburn backs down, as he is not running again and is leaving by laying this on our back.
God be with us tomorrow.
