I met and worked with more than a few in my day. They were perpetual complainers and many times touchy victims, but all this in a sort of air-headed way......interested mostly in non-stop shopping excursions plus hitting the slot machines on local gambling boats.

If I jokingly asked if they were JAPs, they would laugh and proudly say "yes, of course!". They liked me and would invite me to their sons' bar mitzvahs.

JAPS in the old days (1960’s etc) later, due to their shopping prowess, became Closet Queens.

Badda Bing.

I had a sister-in-law who was a JAP-in-training. However, in her case, she actually was pretty nice, very pretty, educated, and when she showed us her new bikini, standing at the top of the stairs, I almost forgot about her sister, the one I was marrying (sort of like the Loving Spoonful song, “Have you ever had to make up your mind?”

I was thinking of a double wedding, me and both of them (in my mind).

Just look at it this way, JAPS (of any kind), keep the economy strong, usually dress well, and keep the food delivery businesses on a sound economic basis. Also keep the ear-plug industry going 24/7.
