Sherie Luffman has been without health insurance for the past seven years.
I had to cancel it because I couldnt afford $750 a month in insurance premiums, and Im more than two years away from qualifying for Medicare, said Luffman, first vice chairwoman of the Whitfield County Democratic Party.
Im really looking forward to the Affordable Care Act taking effect. Ill be able to buy insurance on the health care exchange. Ill qualify for federal assistance to help pay my premiums. Ill be able to go to the doctor when I get sick instead of waiting to see if I get better or die, she said.
Luffman was one of about 40 people gathered in front of the Whitfield County Courthouse Wednesday evening to support the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, and to oppose a bill authored by U.S. Rep. Tom Graves, R-Ranger, that would defund and delay the bill for one year. Graves district includes Whitfield and Murray counties.

WTF? Retired early? And its the taxpayers job to subsidize her health care? Like most folks I had my ups and downs in life. I worked my ass off and am in decent shape financially for retirement. However, I plan to be work full time at least until I am 67 or 68 and maybe longer. Even after I retire I plan to work part time for fun money etc.
Prior to Obamadeathcare I had my retirement healthcare planned. Now I have no fricken idea. Thanks to dumb b--ches like this who voted for the communist queer. She could have easily covered her own health care by working part time unless she did not save enough money for her own retirement. Sounds to me like she just wants to sit on her a$$. Screw her!
This subhuman woman is a parasite...and stupid.
Yes, so is ours. Around here it is know as the “Comrade” or Pravda West.
Why is it this woman had time to front a pro-assclown party but not get a job for the past 7 years with health insurance? Doesn’t the Assclown Party provide health insurance?
I'll give the "Dalton Daily Citizen" credit for pointing that out up front. Small-town rag probably had to cover it, but at least gave the proper context. All the town's registered Democrats were, no doubt, in attendance. Heh.
