Senator Inhofe was on Hannity earlier and very graciously agreed with Sen. Cruz’s description of the caucus. He said they just sit around, talk and in the end never make decisions or come up with a course of action.
The next thing Boehner will cave on is the debt ceiling
*******
A double cave for Boner. That’s going to earn him big points with Obama.
Boner still have a chance at a triple cave before the year’s out. A trifecta! /sarc
History has taught us that the GOP ends up accepting expensive budget busting debt increasing programs from Social Security to Medicare to Medicare Part D etc. etc.
“Mend it, don’t end it” has been one GOPe slogan in recent years.
END IT DEFEAT IT DESTROY IT
Disagree. Let it happen and when the people finally figure out what this means they'll be primed to vote on it. Give them another year to get it together and all you've done is to make it look better while being more entrenched as a system.
Absolutely!!
The implication was that a pubie POTUS would pick her replacement.
Dumb that will only give Dems the next election because they will not feel how bad it is
Delay, HELL! Defund!!!!
Agree,
The best tactic would be to put the employer mandate back in and pass the whole thing - this bill needs to implode.
Dribbling out mandates dulls the pain and keeps the electorate stupefied for 2014.
When it can’t be handled - oh well, scrap it.
A big reason why these liberal progressives have their foot-hold in this country is that the economic pain is being dulled - at staggering rates
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Implementation is what we’ve been fighting.
With a delay we get to fight on
I don’t like the strategy that says, “let’s give them what they want.” Smells like surrender to me.
For a long time now, I’ve felt that I’d be better represented in the Senate (Got Baucus and Tester there now) by a couple scoop loads of cow flop.
After this last year or so, I think I’m either going to look for some cows that crap red and blue or just tell the “experts” in DC to dress ‘em up as they choose to tell ‘em apart.
...only problem with that is that I’ll miss the manure.
WHERE IS ANY MENTION OF THE GRASSLEY AMENDMENT?
Repeal the damn thing. They’ve voted that in the House and it ends up in Harry Reid’s trash can. So next option defund...if that doesn’t fly it’s the Senate R’s fault and everyone that votes w/Reid better get primaried. If it HAS to be delayed, then add in the Grassley Amendment!
What a bunch of pansies.
Btw, yesterday I got thru to the Pittsburgh office of both Bob Casey and Pat Toomey. Casey’s staffer was obviously reading Democrap BS memes but I caught him up on two items...how would Casey vote on the Grassley Amendment (he had to admit he has no idea, shamefully ill prepared from the DC bosses) and I got the snotty young man really flustered over the upcoming EPA chief appointment and Obama’s attack on sw pa coal. He snidely told me Casey represents ALL of PA and clean air initiatives affect ALL. I snapped back, “doesn’t the Senator make a HUGE point of mentioning his families coal history in the mines around Scranton each election time?” Snap, I won that one.
Toomey’s office did tell me that he does NOT support ObamaCare, but the woman who spoke w/me had no idea either how her boss would vote on Grassley Amendment. I also asked why Toomey was not on the Senate floor lending support to Ted Cruz. She had no idea other than he is “very busy.” Yeah right. I did not address the coal issue w/her (but I will on next week’s day off). Toomey is a tad too cozy with the DC establishment and trappings. He is, IMO, distancing himself from the Tea Party.
Of course, the adoptions of white children from a Central American country.
It’s barely a matter of debate.
ObamaCare collapses without the individual mandate. First off, it will spike premiums and maybe even double them. And most insurance companies won’t even participate without the mandate.
Way too many people here don’t even understand the bill.
If you understood the bill, you know it collapses without an individual mandate.
Insurance companies will back out without a mandate, and the few that remain will spike premiums 100% or more.
Good grief, and you folks think you know politics.
Anyone who says he understands the 2,700-page law and its 20,000+ pages (so far) of implementing regulations, is a liar.
Boehner should ignore the surrender monkeys who tremble in fear of the godless liberal media and instead listen to the voices of the vast majority of the freedom loving grassroots patriots who demand our representatives use the constitutional power of the purse to deny the president’s unconstitutional attempts to expand the government while simultaneously destroying the constitution and bill of rights forever more.
God help us if they fail their constitutional duty.
<< Good grief, and you folks think you know politics. >>
Get a life. And some self-esteem.
Boehner and the test of the RINOS act like abused children afraid of more abuse from their parents, the Marxist/Democrats if they upset them too much.
Enough! Time fight back!
