The GOP-E is doing quite a fine job of destroying the party already.

I think I hung with the stupid party for a very long time, longer than most people did. I always made excuses for them, thinking they really did want to do the right thing. Even I have finally given up on them. The GOP-E is quite content at being the permanent minority party, as long as they can attend their dinners and cocktail parties, and have all the nice perks, that the ruling class enjoy. F them all.

This debacle has destroyed my faith in the GOP once and for all. As Rush said yesterday — could there be a better opportunity for a political party than this? Polls show upwards of 60-65% of people oppose this disaster, across all party lines. Whole campaigns were run and won based on the promise to stop it. But instead of seizing the momentum, a sure WIN, what does the GOP do? Sides with who is supposed to be the enemy; betrays everything they’re supposed to stand for. They have shown without a doubt what their true intentions and motivations are, and it has NOTHING to do with conservatism. They can all go to hell and take their empty rhetoric with them.

My sentiments exactly. I made excuses for Dubya until he caused the 06 debacle and the Congress in the hands of the Botox Queen and Whorehouse Harry.

I said "no more." Other than being pro-life, Dubya made no pretense to being a conservative. The Republican Congress critters were only interested in dividing up the spoils, just like the even more corrupt Democrat fellow-critters.

When a real conservative like Cruz happens along, DC denizens like Krauthammer and Hume make snide comments. I say "f" them also. Can't these guys stand for anything?: Are they more commited to the Beltway Cocktail Circuit than they are to liberty?
