There are two Republican Parties. One is the entrench set who simply fall to the direction that their lobbyists request, pretend to be wannabe conservatives, and do chatty-talks with Sunday morning talk-show hosts. They generally believe that you don’t arrive in DC, and jump-frog over them....that have been there ten to twenty years.
So the second Republican Party is this group that asks stupid questions, expects accountability, has made budget control and taxation the number one task of their political figures, and can out-wit any of the entrenched guys in a debate.
The sad truth is that the entrenched guys have been around, and don’t care to have their authority second-guessed. The idea that half their voting base has suggested for them to move on....hasn’t clicked for them yet. The entrenched crowd is relying on 1980s style election strategy to stay around.
My Tea Party representative won in 2010 largely because his long serving rat opponent had given in to Pelosi's demand to vote for Obamacare. My rep has not gone wobbly, and I am sure he will continue to vote to defund Obamacare.
Despite this, I told him that I will probably sit out the 2014 federal side of the election if the GOP caves.
If the Revolution was happening now who would be with Wahington and the Patriots? Ted Cruz would be there, so would Rand Paul and Mike Lee and others—McCain would be wearing Tory Green wanting to comprmise with King George. He would be calling Washintom a Wacko Bird Revolutionary— and so would the New York times. Such as they didn’t win American Freedom.
Good summary
Problem is too many claiming to be conservative think that the Sunday news shows and Fox News are conservative....real conservatives know better
