I know VA benefits are acceptable under this law. What about Medicare?

It sounds like the caps are being delayed until 2015.

Rush mentioned that also but I don't *think* it is applicable to these state exchange plans -- only to certain employer-sponsored coverage and maybe a few other specific situations. So the out-of-pocket expense caps on state exchange plans WILL be in effect as of Jan. 1st.

I wish Rush and other people on our side wouldn't mislead people by omitting crucial information -- things are bad enough without making people worry about imaginary things. Rush also mislead on the subsidies -- saying they are not available if your income is above $47,000 -- when in fact that is (IIRC) approximately the individual limit but not the family limit which is much higher.
