Let’s raise the voting age to 25 as well. That will solve a lot of problems.

voting should be contingent on one thing: emancipation. the age at which you function as an independent adult. no parental support, no public support, no transfer payments, no unpaid tax debts to the government. voting is an adult act in that it gives you an element of influence and control over the quality of your fellow citizens lives. you can’t run around handing that out to psychologically underdeveloped persons with no capacity for independence.

Clearly the age of consent must be raised to 25.
