So the Democrat party should not shut down the government because of their devotion to Obamugabe’s Death Panels.

Seems like if you can’t draw Perry a picture with stick men, he isn’t going to understand.

That’s right, Rick Perry. Why don’t you call Harry Reid and let him know.

Sen. Graham: If Obamacare Succeeds, Hillary Will Be President
Wednesday, September 25, 2013 02:42 AM

By: Greg Richter

Amid coverage of the U.N. General Assembly and Sen. Ted Cruz’s marathon speech on the Senate floor, the missed story Tuesday was Hillary Clinton’s decision to “own” Obamacare, says Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are “selling it as hard as they can sell it,” Graham, R-S.C., said on Fox News Channel’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”

“I will never call it Obamacare anymore,” Graham said. “I’m going to call it Clintoncare.”

Hillary Clinton defended Obamacare during a panel discussion at the Clinton Global Initiative in Manhattan, calling those trying to defund it a “noisy minority,” Politico reports.

Self-interest. You don’t get rich going to DC by opposing the agenda.

The truth is it’s Obama who is threatening to shut down government to save Obamacare. That all these Pubs accept their opponents definition shows how stupid and whipped they are.

Shutting down Obamacare is the desire of The American people.

Shutting down Military pay is the goal of Obama, Reid and Pelosi.

The litmus test for future membership in THE NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY is lack of fear of being blamed for trying to shutdown Obamacare.

Gov. Perry by showing his fear of being blamed for shutting down Obamacare has chosen to stay in the Old-Style Republican Party, the obsolete Surrender Republican Party.

Thanks for eliminating yourself, Gov. Perry, from being considered a Conservative opponent to Obamacare.

Naive fool. Another idiot Republican who thinks he can compromise with Democrats.

La Raza Rick Perry is cut from the exact same open borders and free medical care for illegals cloth as Rubio.

He isn’t a good answer for anything.

Right there is your problem Perry... putting the word “defund” in the same breath as “shutting down”.
********
Perry incorrectly conflates the two issues. He gets easily confused as we all know.

Realistically, there were only two chances to stop 0bamacare. National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius was one, the electoral defeat of 0bama was the other. Now the damn thing has become, as Harry Reid says “the law of the land” and it’s going to be so entrenched in American society that it cannot ever be dug out.

Just like
Social Security
Medicare
Medicaid
Food Stamps
Head Start
Pell Grants
HUD Housing
No Child Left Behind

I applaud Ted Cruz for what he’s doing, and even if only as a matter of principle every member of the GOP should stand with him. The fact that something bad is going to happen doesn’t mean you have to go along with it. Wrong is wrong.

But, alas, after the twin losses last year, I see where this country is going and I don’t like it.

The GOP caved and allowed carve-outs for Congressional staffers (via subsidies)
Why? because the GOP wanted exemptions for their staffers ,too.
Which GOP senators were opposing their staffers from being exempted?

I think its a poor option myself but what choice do they have? If something is not done soon Deathcare will be so firmly entrenched it will be really hard to get rid of it. Then when it collapses as it surely will we will all be forced onto a single payer system.
