If reciprocity is legislated at the federal level, then reciprocity can be rescinded at the federal level in an instant by simply passing a bill or enacting an executive order. Also, federal reciprocity would inevitably come with federal restrictions on what constitutes an "acceptable" state CCW provision.

Better to keep things decentralized. We have "shall issue" CCW everywhere except the northeast and California.

The next "shall issue" CCW push should be for NJ.

If there is national reciprocity, then the federal government gets to regulate it. Right now it is a State issue, I would prefer the feds keep their grimy finger off my concealed carry permit.
