Despite facing a conservative challenger in his own primary race, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., is defying demands from conservative members of his conference to try to block an emergency spending measure in a bid to defund President Obama’s 2010 health law. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has set a key vote for Wednesday on the House passed-legislation that would avoid a partial government shutdown on Oct. 1, while simultaneously canceling funding for ObamaCare. Cruz is calling on his colleagues to block the House bill, even though he supports it as part of a procedural effort to tie up Democrats.
It’s on now - Both McConnell and Minority Whip John Cornyn, R-Texas, both publicly rejected the Cruz-backed strategy and are encouraging colleagues not to block the House bill. A source close to Cruz told Fox News that the junior senator from Texas was “caught off guard” and “very upset” when he got wind of what was going on, adding he felt like he was “stabbed in the back.”

No, the Wednesday vote is to move to consideration of the bill.
Pretty much everyone will vote for cloture Wednesday.
The key cloture vote will come on Friday or Saturday when they move to end debate.
The Dems and Republican traitors will vote for cloture on Friday or Saturday
Pull the rug out from those pro Obamacare Republicans every chance we can.

There’s two names to start with in weeding out RINOs - McConnell and Cornyn. Though I do not live in Texas, I will financially support their opponents in their primary. I’m tired of this crap!!!

Exactly right! Why would anyone be motivated to vote for a Republican Senator? Then they would give Obama everything he wants while whining they are only one third of the government, there is nothing they can do to stop him. Buncha pansies.
I would NEVER vote for a Democrat, but I will NOT VOTE for these Democrat-Lite Senators!!
