God bless you.
God bless Senator Cruz.
1. Cruz will pretend he is James Stewart in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington"
2. He will talk for a few hours, and then look exhausted and pained before the cameras
3. He will then exit the Senate floor, go to the bathroom, and then seek out anyone with a microphone to claim what a hero he was
4. The next day, he will be on Sean Hannity's radio show; Sean will make love to him on the air, and Cruz will return the favor
5. Reid strips out the ObamaCare provision (as predicted days and days ago), and the CR moves back to the House
As Michael Medved pointed out 2 weeks ago, this was all for show. Anyone who told you they could "De-Fund" ObamaCare when the GOP does not control the Senate or the White House was lying to you.
Anyone who believed it got played like a fiddle.
“Therefore, don’t expect any help from Paul. Paul most likely wants Cruz to fail.”
We’ll see. Competition or not, I suspect he’s smart enough to recognize that this is one fight he needs to overtly support.
Thank you for voting!
I support him and hope he keeps talking 91.39% (382 votes)
He should stop doing it 8.61% (36 votes)
Total Votes: 418
Amen.
Thanks for the info I will be sure to watch!!
“Many of them were rather embarrassed because Paul had taken a stand and the rest of them were out having dinner and drinks.
==”
Because they were out having dinner with Obama! I remember that very well. The same crew too,,they aren’t republicans,,they’re scoundrels!
It’s already top trending on Twitter
MSM already spinning this as a crazy senator out of control.
from the Washington Post, 28 minutes ago:
Ted Cruz began a frantic effort Monday to bend the Senate to his will by employing tactics that have earned him mostly enemies in his less than nine months in the chamber.
Vitter just told Hannity he is going to the floor to support Cruz right after his inteview with Hannity.
I support him and hope he keeps talking 91.13% (411 votes)
He should stop doing it 8.87% (40 votes)
They’re driving the Left nuts!
Ted Cruz Mimics Sarah Palin
by Taylor Marsh, the pseudonym for Michelle Marshall
http://www.taylormarsh.com/blog/2013/09/ted-cruz-mimics-sarah-palin/
Marsh is best known for being a “die hard Clintonite,” as the Washington Post described her in a 2008 profile, “For Clinton, A Following Of ‘Marshans’.”[1] However, Marsh started out skeptical of Hillary Rodham Clinton, as the National Journal’s Hotline OnCall[2] revealed early in 2007. “TaylorMarsh.com” became a central hub for Hillary supporters during the 2008 primary election cycle. It’s part of the reason why The New Republic profile of her in 2008, “The Hugh Hefner of Politics,”[3] chronicled Marsh’s professional career. She’s a contributor to The Huffington Post, as well as other new media sites, reporting from the 2008 Democratic Convention for Pajamas Media,[4][5][6][7] covering SEIU[8] events, and the AFSCME Democratic debate during 2007,[9] and has written for many other new media sites...

@SenToomey@SenBobCasey LISTEN TO YOUR VOTERS obamacare is a crime against US #DefundObamacare #MakeDCListen
Did the atheists answering the phone have any idea what you were talking about?
OK, then filibuster through Wednesday...
That is a lot of talking for someone who doesn’t have the floor.
If everybody is as cynical as you that’s exactly what will happen.
I hope there are people who still have some gumption in their guts, even if you don’t.
