Tried calling Sen Cornyn's office, both the local office and the DC office. The offices are not answering the phones and the voice mail boxes are responding that they are full.
Sen Cornyn has joined the McLame/Gramnesty wing of the party, and for all his protestations, with his actions today to stand against efforts to fund Obamacare, he has lost my vote next election.
We need either Jerry Pattterson or Dan Patrick to switch from the Lt. Gov. race to challenge Cornyn.
not that it will do any good, but I sent him and email stating he’s lost my support. I will contribute to whoever challenges him. National TEA party should get behind his opponent too.
Weeping Angels!
Last week I saw an ad on the internet for a conservative, but did not see the person or hear his name until the last of the ad. And while watching I said to self “I could vote for that guy if he is really a conservative as he says.” It was an ad for Sen. Cornyn who is no conservative. I was truly disgusted at the way he sells himself.
THANK YOU rrrod. I did get through to them and did let them have it.
I called last week and gave the message “defund Obamacare”.
All that I was asked was my Texas town zip code. I could imagine the intern at the other end of the phone thinking, “uh oh, another one of these!” He was polite and said he’d pass along my message.
Time for more messages, I reckon.
Ok, I was wrong. I had heard of Stovall, and even follow him on my Facebook page. I just forgot. I came across his name again while looking up the filing deadline. I actually came back here to post his name for others. I’m glad a couple of peeps beat me to it.
Stovall seems like a good guy. I will definitely vote for him unless his name isn’t there. Thanks for the reminder! :)
I think Cruz has been speaking since 1:30ish, Central Time.
I have one question for the RINO Senators, show us one time, when you have fought as hard against Obama as you are now fighting Ted Cruz. Just one time which would benefit the Amreican People and not yourselves.
That’s an excellent question. I’m going to fax that question to all of the RINO’s...once I can get through on their lines.
I don’t underestimate the people of Texas, I am a people of Texas. What I DO see is the calender. Cruz was a relative unknown, but he WAS known. Cruz was one of the attorneys in the Heller case.
Stovall and that other dude are practically unknown in Texas. I just don’t believe there is enough time to make a difference. I will do what I can in my circles but I’m not optimistic.
I just got through to coryn’s DC office and left a message. I pushed #3 to speak to a person but I got a recording and I was able to leave a message. 202-224-2934

Yes, the calendar may be working against us in some respects. But people’s memory is very short and maybe they won’t forget what an incredible jackass Cornyn is.
As involved as I have been in Texas politics for the last ten years, neither I nor most anyone I knew knew much about Cruz, although with a lot of my friends it was “anyone but Dewhurst”.
Never say never, never give up. We’ll just have to see how it all shakes out. I haven’t missed voting in any election since 1960 but I can guarantee you I won’t vote for Cornyn.
Isn’t Rafael Cruz, Ted’s father, a resident of Texas? I bet he could unseat Cornyn.
Lets start that conversation by acknowledging we arent going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants... bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society. Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors. [but hes not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.
