Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on 10 out of the 15 major issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports.
When it comes to the most important issue on voters minds, the economy, the GOP leads by a 44% to 37% margin, according to new national telephone surveying.

And yet, if an election were held today, the 'Rats would still pull out a significant number of victories, despite these poll numbers.
We are the Lobotomized Nation now.
Be aware that a paid subscription to Rasmussen Reports is required to read the entire article.
Which “GOP” are they talking about???
People trust Democrats to give them stuff. That’s all that matters.
Obama is deliberately delaying the DeathCare exemption for unions until after the 2014 elections.....
If you are digusted now, wait till then.
Good question.
I don’t trust the GOP, either. But, generally, when people like Cruz and Lee adopt that Party identity, I can stomach them more than the Demonicrats.
1000 landline likely voters.. and a few of the ‘winning’ areas are within the poll’s +-3% sampling error. I’m depressed that it is this close.
kinda like asking who was worse stalin or hitler or which smells worse freah dog poop or fresh horse poop.

I don’t trust either of them at all on anything whatsoever.
Point is that when you vote, the choices are like to be either a Democrat or a Republican. Better for people to relatively “trust” Republicans in informing their vote.

Trust isn’t relative.
Either one is trust worthy, or one is not.
Right now there are exactly two people within the GOP that I trust.
Two.
I can't argue with you there.
Jim Jordan & Ron DeSantis are potential conservative stars to keep an eye on in the House. That is subject to change of course.
This forum has developed some strange fever. Many posters hate the GOP more then the Democrats.
More than 30% of the voters....probably more like 50% around here....have been Pavlov-trained their whole lives to believe that the Democrats “stand up for the workin’ man” while the Republicans “are for those rich bastards who are out to SCROOOOOO you.”
There’s just no convincing them.
I don’t look at it that way. ..but thanks for the candidness. This forum is pretty much a hate GOP platform now. Not much criticism of Obama or even thoughts on winning over the electorate. It’s like Krauthammer says. Kamikaze tactics.
yeah, fw, I am almost to the point to where if the GOP after 2104 was left with those two members and only those two members, I’d be just fine with that.
I’m ready to start from scratch or just start over completely elsewhere.
The rest of the GOP needs to be taught that if you do not represent those who put their trust in you, then you are gone, no questions asked, just get out and don’t ever come back.
I have had it with them to the point that I cannot even describe it in civilized terms.
