A source in Congress tells Breitbart News that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Minority Whip John Cornyn are using their leadership positions to pressure other Republicans to oppose Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in his campaign to defund Obamacare.
"Right now in the Senate, Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn are actively whipping Senators to shut down debate on the House continuing resolution so that Harry Reid can gut it with just 51 votes, a senior congressional staffer with intimate knowledge of the situation said in an email to Breitbart News. Unbelievably, they actually are leading the fight to fully fund Obamacare.

In Kentucky, Matt Bevin for Senate.
In Texas, Louie Gohmert for Senate.
It's the only way we'll get their attention.

Maybe right now is the time we need to make SERIOUS noise about starting one.

ping. I tried every number and can’t get through on any of them. Will try later. I’m in Nebraska but this is the R minority whip and he is acting AGAINST my interests so this makes it my business.
We may have to fax in addition to plugging away at getting a phone call in. Let’s burn their fax lines.

RE :”
These beltway GOP losers have lost every single election since 2004 when they dont get strong conservative support” How about 2010?

RE :”
If this is funded and goes ahead then when we try to get rid of it in a couple of years the left will run AD;s of how that sick granny or kid will now lose their health coverage etc.” So you are thinking that this will happen?
Both houses will pass the same CR funding O-care?

I am very disappointed in Cornyn. He seems to be engineering a John Kerry, so that he can say, “I voted against Obamacare before I voted for it.”.

If they don't hear from me today, they will hear from me on election day. Or rather, they WON'T hear from me, because my vote will be for Cornyn's challenger.

We don’t know who talked to Chris Wallace. I wouldn’t be surprised if no one did and Chrissy made the whole thing up and lied to Cruz. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
If I absolutely, positively had to pin a tail on a donkey, I’d go with the guy who “effing hates Cruz.”

Cornyn is up for reelection with the same crowd that just chose Cruz over Dewhurst. Apparently, he is arrogant enough to think he is not at risk, too. If I still voted in Texas, I’d sit home if he is the nominee. These people need to know they are there for a reason other than their own personal gain.

I agree, and all in for a Third Party, here.
As all things stand now, if Palin is “for” it, it’s DOA.
If conservatives are “for” it, and take action, run their guy and win, it’s DOA.
If Cruz types bother to defy the odds against them and run nationally ANYWAY, against all those odds, and actually win, their career is DOA.
We have the ground troops and so do the Libertarians to do the footwork it takes to eject the Party of Bush/Rove.

When I called the NRSC (National
Republican Senatorial Committee) yesterday to complain about Cornhead and McConnell, the staffer said they'd not been receiving any calls about them.
Melt the NRSC's phone line!!

Now they are stabbing conservatives in the back again and are going to lose again.” You sound pessimistic about the chances of Obama-care being defunded(this year).

Matt Bevin is running against McConnell.
The polls, of course, show him lagging behind Midge. So what! Cruz was behind David Dewberry in the *polls*, too.
Here's Bevin's website.
