Sarah Palin jumped into the “defund Obamacare” fray this week with a full defense of Ted Cruz‘s efforts to defund the health care law by any means necessary. On Hardball Monday, former McCain 2008 campaign strategist Steve Schmidt said that Republicans need to wash themselves of this “asininity.”
“We need Republicans, whether they’re running for president, whether they’re the leadership of the Congress, to stand up against a lot of this asininity.”
He declared that moderates need to take “conservatism’s good name back from the freakshow that’s been running wild for four years,”

I’m not saying the GOP has taken the party too far to the center, and looks a lot like the Democrat party anymore.
Then again I’m not saying the GOP hasn’t done that, either.
I’d hoped to never agaain in my life hear Schmidt’s SORRY name.
All that’s missing is the “Nyah! Nyah! Nyah” that the Penguin villain from Batman does.
So, a democrat who ran a losing campaign for a RINO (which was his plan all along), and hates America, speaks up against an American.

I hope at least 500 Freepers will find a way to hit back at this loser. He has gotten on my last nerve. The destroyer of reputations. He ought to be drawn and quartered. (Later I’ll tell you how I really feel).
Some folks here feel that she could do more as a private citizen. I disagree. A Senator Palin could do all that a Citizen Palin could do, and more.
A Senator would get more time on news shows, more coverage at press conferences, etc. And of course a Senator gets a vote in the Senate.
And as an added bonus, it would drive the lib's and the GOPe crazy.

Nope. Sarah Palin will focus her energy on defeating the political establishment in 2014. Following a huge election victory, she'll then run for president in 2016. Cruz will remain in the Senate. We need him there.
