Rajendra Pachauri, the 73-year-old Indian leading the U.N.’s climate science arm, told Speigel Online he planned to step down from his position in 2015.
Pachauri, who once told climate skeptics to go rub their faces in cancer-causing asbestos, is not a scientist himself, despite the fact that he leads a group of climate scientists looking at global warming. Pachauri is rather a railroad engineer, an economist and a consultant with lucrative contracts in the energy industry, the German paper noted.
Meaning that when Pachauri vacates his position, anyone could step in to take over -- no degree in climate science necessary to chair the U.N.'s climate science group.

The U.S. government taxes us and uses that money they took from us to pay these global warming scientists huge salaries.
The gov also used our tax dollars to fund fake science for 30 years.

The guy that said the Himalayas were melting and would be flat in 2 weeks. Or was that some glaciers in the Himalayas. In any case it’ll make no difference. Even if he renounces his previous statement. Big oil will have bought him off. LOL!

Solar cycle 24 is shaping up to be another Dalton Minimum.
If solar effects are dominant, then by 2015 or so, there should be global temperature decline beyond the ability of climate scientists to cover up. It's best to be elsewhere when the scam is revealed.
Anyone can replace him that knows how to scam the system. No science background is needed because their is no science involved in the scam. I would check all the towels and linens when this dude leaves the office.
And the environuts used to delight in denigrating those who didn’t fall for the global warming hoax, if they were not ‘climate scientists’.
You suppose these guys would be willing to stake their jobs on the increase in the next 10 years?
