Yes, there are wonderful exceptions, most notably the USA. But it is the exception.

I want to see the detailed documentation... truly, have you read even the New Testament gospels through even once? Where such behavior as you allege is even slightly authorized, I would like to see. Surely if a person calling himself a Buddhist refused to obey Buddha, you’d question whether he’s a Buddhist... why do you not question whether these were even “Christian” people at all? It’s like some great ipse dixit that is treated beyond question by your sages.
