"Now in Texas you have Republican Primary for Governor. And there's a fellow running in the Republican Primary that I've known since I was - how old? - 22 years old. His name is Tom Pauken. He's a Reaganite. He was a long-time Reaganite. Before Reagan he was a Goldwater guy. As solid as they come. A good friend of mine. And Tom Pauken would make an OUTSTANDING Governor of Texas. So I want to wholeheartedly tell my friends all over the state of Texas if you get a chance give Tom a very careful look. You won't be disappointed."

It can likely be Googled, but nowing the year would probably help

Yes, I found out about her campaign when I read the election results. Her name was on the office door and she was a lawyer. She won in a landslide. I wanted to tell her congratulations, but she looked too busy working. But the name escapes me at the moment. The Chinese certainly love to play ghost games and that includes ghost working too.
That’s a fantastic idea. We need to kick John Cornyn out of office and even I would vote for Abbott as Senator. Cornyn can only be defeated by a GOP candidate with a large campaign war chest.
but no toddler tied to the wall like at a Chinese factory
Wow, it never gets that hot in Beijing. Sometimes it gets that hot in Shanghai though. I recall working in a warehouse in the summers of my college years in Dallas. There was no air conditioning and in 1996 it was over 110 for two months. I was impressed I survived without melting, but it convinced me to leave Texas afer graduating from college. That’s why I moved to Asia, beginning with South Korea. I lived there for 6 years.
cool
I love watching Korean shows online, subtitled of course. I have only barely begun to learn.
Chinese love watching Korean dramas too. They dub it into Chinese. I figured it out when I saw street signs in the dramas using Korean script. Chinese love KPOP too. How do you think I heard about Crayon Pop. This girl band really does have a billion fans in China. I wonder if it’s the helmets that make them so popular?
excellent report.....damn proud you are a conservative and the Nation is blessed you are a Texan
I find it hard to believe the helmet gimmick worked. lol
Yes indeed it does. Ironically, you never see a Chinese person wearing a helmet when riding their motorcycles though. But I’ve seen Chinese girls walking the streets wearing Crayon Pop helmets as a fashion statement. They take the helmets off when riding bikes or motorcycles, but they put the helmets back on when going to bars or nightclubs. Some Chinese companies had to impose wardrobe restrictions to prevent Crayon Pop fans from wearing helmets while sitting at their desks.
lolz
Thank you, ad guy. Your comment brought me back to this thread and it looks like the boys, Pauken, Jr. and GeronL are going to set up housekeeping. TexGrill is Tom Pauken, Jr., one of our Freepers found that out.
From what Jr. just said, he left Texas after college due to he doesn't like our Texas weather, and headed east and didn't stop until he got to Korea, now China. Don't know why he calls himself TexGrill since he has rejected Texas - maybe he should call himself ChinaGrill.
Abbott will be a great governor and Pauken will disappear as he has done before when he screwed up.
I read all that....these jickeyjacks are ignorant to believe we do not see the incongruities in their posts..
a dislocated Texas in the east ax’s if Texas is hot ? Seriously ?
I’m in Phoenix but from the Wichita Falls area and any Texan knows the phrase....” it’s hotter’n 11 acres of burnin stumps “
In full disclosure....Humblegunner is a punk and pisses me off.....not cause he ain’t a true conservative, cause he is,,,but because he has the bedside manner of a treble hook
and sleeps with a sharpin’n file
“sleeps with a sharpinn file”
Just curious, what’s a sharpin’n file? Does it have something to do with a sharpie pen? Is it a problem due to the lead content of the sharpie pen? Why would Humblegunner’s love for the Sharpie pen bother you so much. If you want to pick a fight, go after me, since I prefer a Pentech Pen. Anyone says anything bad about a Pentech, I’m ready to rumble.
Thanks. Are you the Tom Pauken Jr. I keep hearing about? lol
