Gov. Pat Quinn says he would consider using state resources to help combat Chicago street violence, but only if city officials want the assistance.
Speaking on this weeks mass shooting in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, Quinn was asked whether there have been discussions about sending in the state police or Illinois National Guard to assist Chicago police.

"I live on the West Side of Chicago. It is an area that has been inflicted with violence, and weve got to protect the people, Quinn said.

You know, I live in the Chicagoland area, and let me just say this...in a perfect world, there wouldn't be a crime problem on certain areas on the Chicago west side, and the south-east side of the city. But its gotten out of hand. You'd think that law abiding, freedom minded people who live there would stand up for their rights, WORK with law enforcement, arm themselves and rid themselves of the HOOD RAT THUGS that live among them. But that's NOT going to happen. Black "leadership" does not have the intelligence, the will, or the backbone to do what is right. The black community does not have the intelligence, the will, or the backbone to do what is right. And now these HOOD RAT THUGS are bringing their HOOD RAT THUG culture, behaviors and evil doings into other areas of the city.
So by all means...(and I am serious here) send in the National Guard, institute a curfew and set up checkpoints. Keep them there until the criminal element is eradicated and order restored.
Personally I'm DONE with the same ole polly-anna bull$hit.

You are so RIGHT !
There could be 20 thugs with a bazooka hiding behind a building when the NG troops walk down the street....but the folks living there won't say a word that they're back there.
These neighborhoods live by the code of silence....and the law of the jungle.

“weve got to protect the people”
Law enforcement does not “serve”, and do not protect. They uphold the law. And they don’t do a great job at that either.

Pat Quinn is a fraud and a liar. He won’t do a thing unless Mike Madigan tells him.
I live in the Chicago suburbs and I could not care less what happens in that liberal-infested city. But if I were mayor, let’s just say certain undesirables would go missing during the night, never to be seen nor heard from again.

how about making Cook County IL, Boulder County Colorado and Travis County Texas their own one state?
Nothing I have read in the constitution says they have to be connected.
They get two senators, maybe four or five reps and they can be happy.
I know I would be happy. make everyone happy.
