Smell Test. They’re not called Blackwater anymore, haven’t been for years. They’re called Academi now.
They may possibly have been referring to a black water creek or river (which I believe do exist in NC). It’s a slow-flowing river, usually through a swamp or something similar, where the water is black. These places are usually pretty remote, so there may be some place there where they holed up and “trained.”
Or possibly they took over an old, abandoned Blackwater facility.
Strange. Evil.
This entire operation is odd. But I also just read a tweet saying the al-Shabaab twitter account is fake and the names are fake.
