Liberals at MSNBC and dozens of web sites are shocked at President Obama’s “problem with his tone” in politically attacking Republicans over spending while a mentally ill murderer was gunning down citizens at the Navy Yard.
The President does not have a “problem with his tone.” Yes, his politically-driven insensitivity made the country wince, but it’s nothing new. Consider the well-documented history of President Obama’s “tone”:
Obama’s gloating and criticism of Republicans, blaming them entirely for failing to agree with all of his tax increases for avoiding the so-called “fiscal cliff.”
He has called Americans “lazy,” and looks down upon small town Americans as “clinging to their guns and Bibles.” He believes American doctors needlessly lop off the legs of diabetics and yank out kids’ tonsils for their own profits. Seriously. It’s on YouTube.
He called Vice President Joe Biden’s Republican opponent, Sarah Palin, a “pig.”
He has disparaged good government advocates with a sexual epithet, divisively labeling them as “anti-government.”
He has publicly demeaned Republicans working to save federal programs as wanting to “gut Medicare”, “gut Social Security” and “gut Medicaid.”
He publicly defended liberal political activist Sandra Fluke against a talk show host’s sexual insult while evading reporters questioning if he would rebuke callously sexist insults against Republican women by supporters Bill Maher and The Roots. Then Barack waxed on about Republicans’ “war on women.”
Ironically, President Obama’s idea of fighting against those nasty Republicans’ “war on women” is to publicly adore California Attorney General Kamala Harris while insulting the physical appearance of her counterparts around the country.
“She’s brilliant and she’s dedicated, she’s tough,” Obama said. “She also happens to be, by far, the best looking attorney general... It’s true! C’mon.”
Thank goodness that isn’t sexist, or it would be “war!” against Attorneys General he considers less attractive: Pam Bondi, Martha Coakley, Kathleen Kane, Lisa Madigan, Catherine Cortez Masto, Ellen Rosenblum and Lori Swanson.
He speaks down to a female reporter, calling her, “sweetie.”
In one of his fits of anger with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he stormed from the room to an office down the hall, yelling, “What the &$#@ was THAT?!!!” It turns out “THAT” was the Prime Minister trying to explain the significance of disputed territories.
The point is that President Barack Obama did not, as his liberal supporters claim, become “tone deaf” by making ad hominem political attacks on Republicans while paramedics and surgeons were actively treating those wounded by the Navy Yard shooter.
This is simply his style of politics.
When the Benghazi tragedy unfolded, he flew off to a fundraiser. When 158 people were killed in a tornado that devastated Joplin, Mo., he flew to Ireland, enjoying the Guinness photo op. He did walk the New Jersey boardwalk with Governor Christie, but that was during the election.
This does not make him “evil” or “bad.” He’s simply a successful politician who has mastered the art of campaigning, fundraising and demonizing his opponents.
Liberals have often wanted a “fighter” who would take up their cause for more government control of our lives.
They do have a fighter. He has successfully fought for gay marriage, expanded federal control of health care, blocked the Keystone XL pipeline, expanded federal control of education, and abided by President Bush’s S.O.F.A. contract to pull troops out of Iraq.
Trash-talking his opposition during a gut-wrenching massacre at the Navy Yard is to be expected.
Yes, the Washington Nationals cancelled their baseball game in somber respect for the dead and their families, but why should Obama change his personality or schedule simply because some jocks demonstrate a higher sense of empathy?
Many politicians play the political game as a blood sport and our President is one of them.
You might as well embrace it.

Certainly, he has a problem with the truth. However, his reaction to the truth, anything against the selfish and Islamic ideological dogma coupled with socialism [his route to Islamic rule], is that of a spoiled little two year old brat who won’t take no for an answer. He should be given the equivalent of a good parental spank on the bottom and put in his crib.
