In the search for parallels to explain Aaron Alexis's killing spree at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday, the media have turned reflexively to recent incidents in Aurora, Colorado, and Sandy Hook, Connecticut.
Almost no one in the media, however, has made the obvious comparison to Christopher Dorner, the former Los Angeles Police Department officer who killed four people and wounded three others in a ten-day spree last February that ended with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Although the most visible point of comparison is race and gender -- black and male -- both were born in New York City within a month of each other in the spring of 1979, graduated high school, attended college, moved more or less comfortably in the larger integrated world, and joined the Navy Reserve.
Most saliently, both Dorner and Alexis were mentally unbalanced. In a different time and place they might have blamed themselves, their lovers, or their parents for the demons that haunted them, but the two came of age in what might be called the post-Roots era. From the beginning, they have always had a way to account for their misfortunes that spared them introspection.
Published as nonfiction in 1976 and produced as a spectacularly successful mini-series a year later, Roots: The Saga of an American Family gave progressives the perfect pedagogical tool with which to instruct their less enlightened brethren in the quiet horrors of American culture. In fact, it quickly became the dominant narrative, a curriculum standard, a veritable sacred text...

re: mind control
I'm not talking about anything sophisticated, really.
Haven't you ever noticed even amongst friends and family, that a person can hear the same thing over and over and soon they start to parrot it ?
Simple repitition.
Some people are very suggestive.
Some drugs put people in a very suggestive state.
I came across an unverifiable story of how a guy was drugged, then filmed having gay sex. After he was shown the video, he was completely controllable.
That is very, very simple, no magical mystery stuff.
Whether that specific case is actually true or not - it simply highlights the fact that people can often be manipulated in similar ways. Most people do not sit around and dream up such evil ways of controlling people - so it's difficult for most people to get their mind around such techniques being used by "conspirators".
In fact, however, very strong manipulation happens every day all over the place in male-female relationships where one or the other is an intense manipulator.
As far as mind control of the public - that's what the news media is ! Look at your local newspaper. All it probably talks about is "let's pay those teachers, do it for the kids" - over and over for decades. It's repeated so often that most people think we need to spend more on public schools, even as they cost 2 or 3 times what a good private school costs. Mind you, even people you think are "unaffected" by the propaganda will often just be unable to resist the charms of their local news media in print and on TV. They will be just about in love with TV on-air personalities, thinking them above reproach.
Mind control in movies or video games ? Crazy ? No, subliminal influences in print and on screen are a common technology, but you have to study the field of marketing to learn about what's going on in the field today. I don't have the time, but I know over the last century there have been a lot of advancements. Of course, if the reader is interested enough, they should research this topic on their own.
Does the CIA have dark projects that are not even on their books ? Did they continue projects that they said they abandoned in this way ? Well, if they'd give LSD to unsuspecting people, their morals would certainly not prevent them from doing this. And see, why it's key to realize that the "financial oligarchy" was behind British and US intelligence from their outset, they certainly would have access to resources, facilities, money, etc., to carry on programs in the "private sector" once the CIA has to officially abandon them. This is not to say that I have evidence of this, but the astute reader will simply note that it is well within the realm of possibility, and if the program is yielding benefits to "the oligarchy", they certainly would have a motive to continue them. For example, if the oligarchy elites wanted to promote occasional domestic terror acts in order to develop support for gun confiscation and expand the powers of government police authority, the occasional nutcase would serve their purposes quite well.
Just to get a handle on a brief overview of some "wayward" CIA activity, I include the following links - let the curious reader continue from there:

There are hellish things going on today. I am simple minded, Pieter. I think they are tied to hell and wont need some hypothetical powerful human inner circle to make them go.
You're talking about their motivations, I'm talking about people and what they do.
For example, the organizing of the UN. It did not just spring up magically. And there are historical accounts and documents available. For example, John D. Rockefeller, Jr. providing the money to purchase the land it sits on is a documented fact - and smacks of a billionaire exerting control over the organization.
Another example of a real person doing real things,
"Wild" Bill Donovan. He was a wall street lawyer - he had a documented relationship with the Rockefeller "empire" - he is mentioned in the Rockefeller Foundation annual report of 1916 as a member of its War Relief Commision. That's 25 years BEFORE the OSS was started. And he was a member of the commission, not a filing clerk. But you'll never know anything about Wild Bill if you don't research him and his connections.
Yes, because America as a nation has turned its back on God - and this started in the 1800's, when this evil "cabal" of financial slavemongers rears its ugly head and tempts America with national debt, corruption, slavery, immoral pursuits, etc., then America falls to the tempations. If not this evil cabal it would have been another, but make no mistake, it's not the thin air that is enslaving us, it's a real live enemy. This particular cabal had its global trading and financing tentacles all throughout the British Empire. It is why America had slavery, it ran India for a century, it financed the growth of America as well as the British Empire and Europeans in Africa, India, Asia, etc., it forms the network of banks that lend to the governments of the world. I'll be making a post hopefully soon that gives a brief overview of some of the historical characters and relationships.
So... a) we need to get right with God, then b) we need to go up against this corruption and we can defeat it with God's help.

I say with grand charges must come grand proof. Just because some eminent historian wrote something means nothing. What vetting have you given it? I named one simple obvious thing. Time lines. Go to your conspiracy theory support group and see if they can construct time lines. Then come back. Im not going to goose chase after this book and that book without a good reason. That is putting confidence in men and not in God.
You have to read A. Sutton, or listen to the video, to understand it. He has the proof, that's the point.
Stanford University, specifically the Hoover Institution has a lot of files that include source documents that reveal a lot of evidence. Mr. Sutton did extensive research of SOURCE documents. Some of them I found copies of on the internet. SOURCE documents, not speculation. I have copies of some source documents. Others, like corporate records - are official corporate records that he says he read. If he's "making up" stories about that - someone else could easily prove him wrong by getting the real corporate records. This has not happened. Why would he lie about corporate records, which could easily prove him wrong ?
Stanford pushed him out. Not because he lied. They never came up with being able to prove something he said was false. They just pushed him out. This ended his ability to access the Hoover Institution archives. I was SHOCKED to find out Stanford pushed him out. Professors are almost NEVER pushed out. Any subversive wacko out there is LOVED by universities and glorified. What does it take to get pushed out ???
GET IT ? 2 + 2 = 4. It ain't hard to figure out. Let's go prove him wrong.
Go listen to his video on youtube, the Best Enemy Money can Buy. You can keep stopping it. Go fact by fact, write them all down. Take each fact and evaluate, like a juror on a jury, like a detective interviewing a suspect, is this purported fact true, false, provable, unprovable ? What is his motivation to tell the truth ? To lie ?
Hey, if Standard Oil gave essential help to Germany by providing high-octane aviation fuel, without which the Luftwaffe would have been UNCOMPETITIVE, then that's a big fat glaring fact. I can understand why American big business would conduct international trade BEFORE the war. That's all well and fine. But if American big business knew beforehand that the intent was for the US and UK to go to war with Germany - in fact, was purposely arming Germany for exactly such a war, that's not only immoral - it's illegal. That would be aiding and abetting America's enemies - actually creating them.
If I take a few years of my life and put together a whole book, with a timeline, citing my source document references - many "naysayers" will simply say it is conspiracy theory and not even read it. I doubt you would read it. I do not have time to write such a book, especially considering it would not be read. There already is research out there, published. But the reader has to verify the references for themselves. They would have to as well with any book I would write; but they wouldn't. They'd simply roll their eyes and toss the book aside.
Many people do not want to verify references for themselves. They can see all the evidence of the crime before their eyes, but it's too much for them to take, to admit that the "wackos" are right. They are simply "anti-conspiracy" people, and as such they don't have to spend any time or effort on the issue.
They actually could have offered to them a video where a new world order type sat down and calmly admitted that the conspiracy was true. They would not admit that it was real. So they would not even watch the video for more than a minute. No, it's just a wacky video. I used to be one of those people.
I can't prove things in your mind (lol), I can only prove things in my mind.

Pieter, you so inexplicably dodge the gravamen of my point, which is time lines.
I painstakingly check timelines, that is essential to proving or disproving.
There are tons and tons of avenues to investigate; different businesses, people, governments.
Which storyline would make you take a second look ?
That is, for example, I can talk about the CFR, but many times as soon as you say CFR people immediately dismiss everything you say after that, regardless of timelines, characters, etc.
