Testifying before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Admiral Mike Mullen said that the direction given to Special Operations Command Africa commander Lt. Col Gibson was to "hold in place" on the night of the attacks.

Mullen also said that U.S. aircraft were not at the ready while the attack was ongoing. He claimed there was a "physics problem" in addition to a "time and distance problem" that prevented the United States from providing immediate air cover.

And has anyone on this committee asked anyone appearing before it, “Do you know where the President was or what he was doing during and immediately after this attack?” Now, we only have our own speculation and the President is as silent on this as he is on his school records, birth certificate, etc.
There was a Valerie Jarrett problem because she was in charge that night because the disappearing Bathhouse Barry was getting cornholioed by his Reggie that night and couldn't be bothered. I'd bet a fair sum that that's the truth of the matter, and the reason for the cover-up.
This occurred on 9/11. Leadership should have been ready for contingencies around this notorious date. Assets should have been available and ready. Also, responding late was better than never responding. Nobody knew how long this thing was going to last.

How do we know it wasn’t a hostage situation? Has anyone seen or heard anything from the people in the second facility? Maybe Hillary and Obama are hiding the fact that we paid, or are paying, ransom to the thugs in Benghazi.

It is my understanding from posts quite some time ago that this type of order CAN ONLY ORIGINATE IN THE WHITE HUT FROM THE CIC.
Has anyone from the Obama administration said that they even tried to prepare a response? The guys in Tripoli acquired an aircraft and made it to Benghazi in a few hours. That was coordinating outside of the US government to rent an airplane.

Why did Hillary and Obama use United States personnel, equipment and facilities to overthrow the government of Libya? Why not overthrow the government of Cuba? Cuba is closer to the continental US than Hawaii. Democrat imperialism is OK?
Think about it. The excuse was there was not enough time to get help to them. How did they know how long the seige would be going on. Crockett and Travis and Bowie held out 13 days. There was no way to know how long the fight would go on.
