If they decide that “news” is a couple of gay characters who can’t get wedding photos, then that’s what you are going to hear about. If they decide that “news” is fires in California, then that’s it.
Being in control of the broadcast media they can make “the news” be whatever they want.
And that includes making up "the news" to be whatever they want.

The role of the media as gatekeepers is something I learned decades ago in a college class. It was then that I realized how much power the media had in determining what people thought about things. But it was only when twenty years ago that I rejected the Dem Party I had been a member of for a long time did I fully realize how bad Americans are brainwashed by the lib media. If the media weren't in the bag for every ultra-lib/socialist pol who comes along, this country would be in a lot better shape.
