So Navy Yard, I feel in my gut, was likely not orchestrated. I do not feel the same about Newtown. That one feels like a setup by the government.

Yeah, I was discussing this with an online friend and Freeper one night. I have the same concern as you about setups, I keep thinking of things like MK-ULTRA (1947-1971?) when the Navy shooter perp mentioned microwaves and such. I've heard of similar experiments in the old Soviet Union in the 1950's/1960's and later too. My friend used Occam's Razor and said the shooter had (or felt he had) an ax to grind, with the bad economy and the country being run badly now. I can see both sides. Maybe it's neither in this case. I tend to agree with you that this may not be a setup but Newtown was. Even if these are generally random and only the lone gunmen plan these things, it is very convienent for the "power that be" to milk it for what it's worth and get their anti-gun, anti-2nd Amendment agenda passed.
