WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) The gunman in the mass shootings at the Washington Navy Yard, Aaron Alexis, had a history of violent outbursts, was at least twice accused of firing guns in anger and was in the early stages of treatment for serious mental problems, according to court records and U.S. law enforcement officials.
But Alexis apparently managed to exploit seams in the nations patchwork of complicated gun laws designed to keep weapons out of the hands of dangerous people. He was able to buy a shotgun in Virginia with out-of-state identification, even though that would have prevented him from buying a handgun. [snip]
So...now Obama has reached a point here he can come out and forecast the shootings, eh? Just stop and think about how he could be THAT confident?
It absolutely will if Obama and the rest of the gun grabbers have their way.
Sounds like he is sending out a not so subliminal message....accompanied by that irritating nose whistle he does.
In fact Obombas shooting ritual already exists. Imagine that.
I remember that book. In fact I still have my copy. At the time I felt it was way over the top. Today not so much
already happening in Chicago where guns are outlawed.
Yeah.
Obama’s America.
Sounds more like a threat to me.
The sad state of affairs today is such that hardly anything that doesn’t involve UFO’s is too weird to be dismissed out of hand.
Too conspiratorial? After F&F, nothing involving firearms is too conspiratorial.
WHAT are you talking about???
Fly it upside down, if at all.
Nothing that hasn't been proven recently in an Egyptian court of law.
Bammy puts the DUH in AL CIA DUH!
It does sound like a threat.
Since I have your attention, please explain to those of us slow on the uptake what the “backpack” thing means.
It’s a joke post from during the Boston bombing incident which featured some long threads with people hastily trying to identify the terrorists from surveilance photos. That was my submission.
Oh.
I get it now.
hah.
He wants it to happen.
It takes more documentation to buy a gun in Virginia (or to buy Sudafed in Nebraska...) than it takes to be given the nuclear football that could shoot up the whole world.
The irony that is wasted on most of America is this: If Obama is all for strict enforcement of valid ID’s being presented and background check passed before allowing somebody to have the means to kill others, then why won’t he present any VALID birth certificate for himself before acting like he can install the Muslim Brotherhood in whatever country he darn well pleases - on a whim if that’s what he wants to do?
Maybe the same reason that Janet Napolitano can be so certain there will be a “natural disaster’ that dwarfs anything the country has ever experienced. Maybe the same reason the dem congresswoman puts the probability of an EMP-type event at 100%. That’s a high degree of certainty that these people are claiming for events they also claim are random and/or “natural”.
And the funny thing about Obama’s predicted possibility: the fairly regular mass shootings began in March of 2009 and have been going “great guns” ever since. There have been mass shootings all along, but this “ritual” of a big event twice a year or so started at the same time as Obama’s so-called “presidency”. The Russian guy commented on what a fine example of “American exceptionalism” it is, that nobody is even surprised when a mass shooting happens. And then Obama comes out and says (basically) that this is the new “normal”. It’s almost like Obama is applauding the Russian guy for understanding what a crappy place America is.
This usurper disgusts me so much I can taste it.
