AUSTIN, Texas — A Texas appeals court has overturned the money laundering conviction of former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. The Texas 3rd Court of Appeals said in a 2-1 ruling on Thursday that DeLay had been acquitted. This was an abomination and there was no excuse for George W. (apparently the W stands for “Wimp”) Bush to have allowed it to happen. You can’t have a serious political party if you allow goofy little hacks like Ronnie Earl to take your key players out.

Bush was hardly the leader who protects his people. Don’t forget how he sat by and watched Libby go down in flames along with the border patrol agents charged with assault.

VERY glad to hear this. The “conviction” was on the thinnest of pretexts...how a jury couldn’t detect reasonable doubt is rather astonishing.

10 years from now Michelle Bachman will be completely exonerated too. Until then she’s the dirtiest politician in DC (if you listen to Big Media).

The campaign finance laws are a mine field rigged to go off on people considered dangerous to the establishment.

The whole thing was a show trial and a political vendetta from the beginning.

I always thought this was a strange case of a roach (EARL) getting back at the exterminator (DeLay).

I know. Shameful (on both counts). The people who deserve political protection don't get it and those who don't, do. Republicans up against Democrats is like a guy in a three piece suit getting the shit beat out of him in a dark alley. While the guy is struggling to make out the fine print in his pocket copy of the Marquess de Queensbury rulebook, the bad guy is swinging for the cheap seats at his kidneys with a lead pipe. Pubsters need to be more like Dems (in mindset and tactics).

Obama protects his people because all the scandals are tied DIRECTLY to him!! Not sticking up for Bush, but those scandals had nothing to do with him.

Now lets get DeLay to replace Boehner!

Then watch Obama howl and cringe as if he had been sprinkled with holy water.

It was Travis County (Austin) jury. Plenty of progressive zombies there. Ronnie Earl shouldn’t have even had jurisdiction on this case.
