UT is not yet Berkeley. They still have not removed the Confederate statues. However, they did change the name of Simkins because the old guy was not politically correct. The administration has some delusions of being an IVY, which is why they HATE having to take in kids who graduated from poor high schools in the top ten of their classes. They prefer their minorities to have the right polish.

I’m so happy he was finally vindicated.

Yup, too bad it took so long and basically all the conniving bastards that did this to him have gotten away with it.

This is such good news. Now, only if the rabid prosecutor could be properly punished for his relentless persecution of an innocent man.

The leftist modus operandi: to persecute people to give the illusion that they are engaged in wrong-doing, with the knowledge that all of the damage will have been done by the time the person is exonerated. This has been a tactic for so long that one would think it would be transparent and laughable by now—yet the consumers of mass media seem to keep falling for it, over and over again.

I heard that the morons are planning to appeal this decision. The DA in this case was grand jury shopping until he found one that he liked.

I’m thinking the rinos would have sunk him if at all possible.

I wish people would recognize the difference between moderate Republicans and RINOs. A moderate Republican is one who is for political or personal reasons unable to be a very strong proponent of a conservative agenda, but who will be glad for other conservatives who are more able to do so. A RINO, by contrast, has enough of his political identity tied up in his ability to "work with" Democrats that he must fight tooth and nail against anything conservatives might do that would devalue that ability.

Also there is confusion about some issues being moderate Republican.

Delay and Hastert blocked Immigration Reform even though they were moderates.

It is the cheap labor libertarians and anti-white RINOS who are the big push behind Immigration reform.

GREAT news except the part of not holding those backstabbing lying accusers accountable for their malfeasance.

Tar and feather time? Well, actually waaaayyy past time!

They should be made to make right all that they made DeLay go through...with out delay!

He doens’t the dirty little truth about the injustice system is that if you lawyer up, right, wrong, law or no law you can destroy anyone you want.

This is what we now have for a “justice system” so many judges with in any jurisdiction it’s easy to cherry pick anyone of them to come to any verdict your rival’s like.

Furthermore, because both the guilty and the innocent pay, and the cost of the modern investigative standard of ‘justice’ keeps going thou the roof. Anyone who might want to shut you down doesn’t even have win the case. The costs of your deference is enough to bankrupt any normal person, and the mere acquisition to effectually destroy almost anyone else.

It is indeed the sheer size of the injustice system that is at the root of the first problem as compounded by the effective size of any given judges domain. Thus permitting cherry picking of judges.

Solution cherry picking:
1: Reduced the number of judges.
2: Draw the judges domains into smaller units so that your always garrenteed to get one particular judge for any given crime.
3: Randomize the judge selection in existing multi-judge domains units to remove the capability to cherry pick judges.

Resolving the cost issues is more difficult, as it requires reducing the burden of technological proof, and using more simple & older methods. However I argue we should not bother with that as the real problem is the innocent being persecuted. The obvious answer is letting the looser bare the costs in all circumstances.
