So, Homeland Security gets a couple billion rounds of ammunition, but the military doesn’t get any. That’s disturbing.
On Monday, a crazed gunman killed 12 innocent people, and injured over a dozen more, in a Washington, D.C. Navy Shipyard. It didn’t matter that it occurred on a military installation, because in 1993 Bill Clinton decreed that all U.S. military bases be “gun free zones”; thus denying the victims their 2nd Amendment right to defend themselves. But, it didn’t help those who did manage to be carrying a gun at the military base on Monday, because, apparently, it’s an ammunition-free zone, as well.
A dad describes how his Marine son at the Navy Yard on Monday had a gun, but wasn’t allowed the ammunition to go with it. A combination the Marine said would have stopped the shooter sooner, and would have saved lives.

It appears these mass killers only choose gun free targets. Is there any example where one has gone into a known armed group and begun shooting??

Imagine what 15 or 20 heavily armed/trained and very committed terrorists could have done to this military base..... and only a little over a mile from the White House.
At least Obama is doing everything he can to keep his Muslim Brotherhood well armed.
GWB could have canceled-out that EO; I wonder why he let it stand. It’s weird that he didn’t. All US Military Personnel should be armed (with ammo) at all times.
It’s that liberal style over substance thing. Liberals are so scared at the sight of an assult weapon (or any weapon for that matter) that they usually wet themselves. They figgure the bad guys will do the same so ammunition is really not necessary.
It's really quite simple. Choices were made about 30 years ago to turn our law enforcement agencies into paramilitary strike forces for deployment in our cities. They would be at odds with our military.
Have you looked at the face of your typical municipal, state and federal police forces lately?
So the Marines were carrying very expensive clubs, as asinine as it gets.
At least give them throwing spears or bows and arrows you bunch of limp wristed, wimp SOBs.
Obama is to attend the sunday funeral service honoring the victims. How about we make that an ammunition free zone for that day?
