Stevens said shes met with roughly 100 exotic dancers among Nashvilles 10-15 gentlemen clubs, many of which are dens of debauchery leading to higher rates of drug use, alcohol abuse and potentially prostitution.
A lot of them have pasts that they cant get over, so I just say Jesus knows all that youve done and still sees you as 100 percent forgivable, Stevens said. His love is unconditional and that seems to resonate with these girls. I tell them, God sees you as valuable and I see you as valuable.
Stevens points to a 23-year-old mother of two who stopped working as a stripper shortly after meeting her last year as proof that the approach works. The former dancer, whose name is being withheld to protect her identity, has since quit smoking and now wants to work in law enforcement after completing her degree in criminal justice.
She wants to be a cop now, Stevens said. She has taken giant leaps of faith and she has really stepped up. She came to know the Lord; she left and didnt even have another job lined up.

What?
That’s ridiculous!
Oh wait...that’s “past”...not “pants”...
Never mind.
From stripper to whore to cop. There's a joke in there, somewhere, I'm sure.
The are plenty of "helpful" Christian pastors who would be delighted to help them shed their pants ("just, please, honey chile, don't let the word get back to the church").
This is a good thing this couple is doing. People can change with love and help from God.
Something to do with andcuffs, perhaps.
Yep. Jesus/Yeshua has a powerful effect on broken lives.
I agree. I actually just sent a small donations FWIW.
I read the headline as removing their pasties.
Go on you. I’ll do the same.
I bet they all have a divine right, if they wish to attend. ;^}
For any who want to donate, Strip Church is apparently nation-wide. Here is their website...stripchurch.com
LOL.
I guess I’m not the only one that read “pasts” as “pants”.
I didn’t know they needed help.
I thought it said pasties.
Strip Church; Two words I never expected to see side by side.
I hope they’re doing something to keep girls from this in the first place, but it sounds like they do good work with the resources they have.
Actually, if they do not participate in any of the “side” activities associated with stripping, the occupation is not illegal and would not disqualify them from consideration.
Would it be looked at very hard in the background process. Yes. Could they get hired. Yes. Just like any other job
I believe Mr. Lazamataz may be a deaon in this church.
