Hitler was a vegetarian Tojo was the grandson of a Buddhist priest or something. They are not dis-qualifiers for murderers.
I kind of agree with this.
Look how violent, how many war crimes the Japanese committed in World War II.
A lot of them were Buddhists and also practiced Shintoism of which I don’t know much.
Same thing for all those countries in South East Asia, Cambodia has a lot of Buddhists but they also had the Khmere Rouge there.
But I doubt Hitler was vegetarian for religious reasons, at least not the kinds of reasons Buddhists use.
I’ll offer that vegetarianism based on secular morality likely increases the odds one becomes a murderer, as there is no distinction (morally) between humans and animals. Lacking that distinction, observation (in their mind) of humans ‘murdering’ other animals could certainly flip the switch of an unstable secular vegetarian.
