why should he negotiate? he doesn’t care about the debt ceiling... and hasn’t since he fedgov stopped updating our national debt on may 17th... about $50billion short of the ‘ceiling’
here’s a tip for those clueless republicrats...
a ‘ceiling’ is only a ceiling ... if you cannot exceed it, cannot ignore it, and cannot avoid it.
next time, put some teeth in the bill to insure its implemented

Obama has a CONSTITUTIONAL right to overspend!
And he would know - ‘cause he’s a Constitutional scholar, they say.

"There is scarce a king in a hundred who would not,
if he could, follow the example of Pharaoh -
get first all the people's money, then their lands,
and then make them and their children servants forever.
It will be said that we do not propose to establish kings.
I know it.
But there is a natural inclination in mankind to kingly government.
It sometimes relieves them from aristocratic domination.
They had rather have one tyrant than 500.
It gives more the appearance of equality among citizens, and that they like.
I am apprehensive - therefore - perhaps too apprehensive -
that the government of these States may in future times end in a monarchy
[not called a monarchy but an executive with monarchial powers].
But this catastrophe, I think, may long be delayed,
if in our proposed system we do not sow the seeds of contention,
faction and tumult, by making our posts of honor places of profit.
If we do, I fear that, though we employ at first a number
and not a single person,
the number will in time be set aside,
it will only nourish the fetus of a king
(as the honorable gentleman from Virginia very aptly expressed it),
and a king will the sooner be set over us."

What Obama is saying is that he will spend anything he likes and the Congress can go screw them selves.

What I havent been willing to negotiate, and I will not negotiate, is on the debt ceiling, Obama told ABC News George Stephanopoulos in an interview on This Week. WE need to grab this gift from the President and run over him with it.
This is not about Republicans....
This is about the Dictator Obama.

Is this the same guy who arbitrarily changed a section of a duly enacted law ( the ACA) without any reference to Congress (the Employer Mandate)? I believe this sort of behavior is referred to by those of the Hebrew persuasion as Chutzpah.

All Right! Obama is drawing another red line in the sand! So we conservatives have WON!!

Somebody needs to tell the constitutional scholar that the president shouldn’t be negotiating anything. He can either sign or reject a bill.
But the senate has been acting as his shield. So nothing he doesn’t want will get to him so they can blame the republican House.
It’s getting old, though.

But as senator Obama voted NO to increase the debt ceiling.
Come on Boehner & co take on Obama on his hypocrisy!

What Obama actually KNOWS AND FOLLOWS regarding the Constitution could fit on the head of a pin.
