Three shooters are involved in the Navy Yard shooting, a police spokeswoman said.
One of the shooters is “down,” police said, but two remain in a building on the grounds.
One of the shooters at large is dressed in fatigues. At least one has a long gun, police said.

Beltway shooters is the only one I can remember. Columbine shooters had different weapons.

According to the media as of a few minutes ago, the white suspect has been cleared.
Very hard to believe someone with that record would be hired for a position requiring security clearance like the Navy Yard.
But in certain circumstances, those guidelines are probably overlooked.

That is what I want to know as well. I read someplace he was shooting specific targets. Can’t find that now.
Well I know the guy on the right is carrying a pump action shotgun. How do you know the other guy is carrying an automatic weapon?

2:40pm - NBC 4 reports Aaron Alexis ID’s by fingerprints. Outlet re-emphasizes that Alexis was targeting specific people.

I was thinking the same thing. And how was he able to get a firearm in?
3:10pm - NBC 4 says security video shows shooter entering building with a shotgun. Police believe he might have stolen a semi-automatic 9MM pistol from the first security guard he shot with the shotgun. He then might have shot another guard who would have responded carrying a AR-15 assault rifle, and then the shooter grabbed and used that. This is all speculative; what the media is reporting what the police are investigating.
3:10pm - DC Nationals cancel tonight’s game. Rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
I did not find any criminal history.
