Watch Christie’s first ad in his walkover 2013 reelection race. Then imagine that as the start of telling the Christie story to a national Republican audience. Pretty powerful stuff. Yes, Christie has something of a base problem given the (false) idea that he somehow cost Mitt Romney the 2012 election because of his embrace of President Obama during Hurricane Sandy. But, Christie’s regular-guy populism is a nice fit for the times. **PUKE**)

Too early to decide, but I certainly want to see what Ben Carson can do.

unfortunately, their rankings look accurate.

And with Rand Paul in the race, it dries up much rural grassroots populist activism that otherwise could go to Cruz.

It doesn’t sit well that the leftist Compost is promoting Rand. I am with Cruz, who they and the NYT slam at every turn.

Has the Washington Poo indicated who Hillary Clinton’s running mates should be?

Is Joe “plugs” Biden among them?

I appreciate everything that Cruz stands for and his tireless work against leftist rule and GOP establishment, but more than likely the nominee will be a Governor. Someone who has experience running things. I'm afraid it will be Jeb Bush, but I really like Scott Walker. I think he'd be effective having shown the ability to take the battle to the entrenched left in his state and win; this is no small accomplishment.

I really don't get the Christie predictions here and there. Have they forgotten he has no support in the South?

I call BS on Chris Cillizza's article for this:Plus, he's ranking Ted Cruz at #6, behind Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, and Chris Christie.

This description of his antics at the end of the article pretty finished it off for me:

He obviously is NOT a conservative. And is probably an operative for the GOP-e. Pay no attention.

Neocons don’t play nice. Rand Paul will be smeared out of public life if he makes a serious run. It will be ugly.

This was a nice couple of weeks. But prepare for the dying empire to continue perpetual war. Pray for your kids.

While I’d greatly prefer Rand Paul to crypto-liberals like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie, I find his support for amnesty for illegal immigrants hard to stomach. I don’t think that I could bring myself to vote for any pro-amnesty candidate, which, as far as I know, leaves Ted Cruz as the only acceptable GOP candidate who is likely to be running.

Chris Christie is a Northeast anti-gun Republican. He also signed absolutely Tyrannical legislation relating to Free Speech and the conversion of gays to ex-gays.

Consequently, Christie has absolutely no chance of winning the GOP nomination in 2016, nor any chance of being on the ticket as VP. Any northeasterners who think Christie is a viable national candidate are beyond deluded.

If there's one thing that can de-energize the conservative/TEA party base, it's liberal northeast Republican gun-grabbers.

Combine that with the fact that Christie consistently has to wipe 0bama's j--m off his face, I'd say that Christie is about as likely to be the GOP nominee in 2016 as Mitt Romney is...
