I'm surprised there's a guy named "Farouk Kareem" reporting this. How long before his co-religionists label him a traitor?
Praying God’s mercy and comfort on this man and his family, and community. I have really had to consider how it can be true, the Lord says in Matthew 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
And I trust that God is going to keep his promise to this man, because He has kept every promise to me.
And I know our Lord is going to keep all of His promises to all of his children, in the same way, but I am still angry and furious and deeply sad at the stories of persecution I hear right now.
Praying for the lost and persecuted all over the world. The Lord’s will be done.
