I’d bet 28 was meant for you too, nice try. BTW Cruz and Paul have almost identical on illegals. Paul seemed to be going wobbly then steadied himself. It’s called evolving and as long has he is evolving in the right direction he has my support. I like Cruz too, but he has only been in office for a year.

So, tell me where he has renounced his own Amnesty plan he so clearly articulated as recently as March of this year?

The only thing he has renounced is Marco Rubio's plan, not his own.

Here are the links, from this year, where Rand Paul clearly lays out his own Amnesty plan for 2 million illegals per year, based on a "Certification" from a Pro-Amnesty congress that the border is "secure". No Fence, No E-Verify, No punishments for ID Fraud, and all the other misdemeanors and felonies committed by the Undocumented Democrats he wants to pardon.

Again, let’s wait for the actual voting. If we can get Rand Paul and even Rubio to say secure the borders and US jobs for US citizens first, that will go a long way toward them getting on board with constitutional conservatives.

It’s called evolving and as long has he is evolving in the right direction he has my support. I like Cruz too, but he has only been in office for a year.

From July of this year:

I think Nevada is and should be open to the message that the Republican Party needs to be more welcoming to immigrants,” Paul said. “I think the message for the Republican Party needs to be that we welcome you. If you want to work, we will find a place for you.”

Pressed on whether his opposition to the Senate bill makes him a flawed messenger on that front, Paul said he continues to favor immigration reform and is “working with members in the House to move something forward.”

He urged the House to consider adopting his own approach to reform, which involves creating a mechanism for Congress to ascertain whether the border is secure before undocumented immigrants achieve legal status.
