No... I take Eph 6 quite literally because it is true. Willing people can be PROXIES for demons. But demons are demons. They are actual supernatural entities. Just because people have dealt foolishly towards demons in the past (e.g. Salem witch trials) does not obviate the truth that the demons exist.
