Democrats apparently can never just loose an election. Something sinister, even illegal, must be the reason. "I'm not sure what happened," former State Senator Angela Giron told the Denver Post the morning after she was trounced in a first of its kind recall election in Colorado. Now, she's got a different story voter suppression.
Angela Giron lost her Senate District 3 seat in Pueblo, Colorado in a recall election last Tuesday by more than 12 points, 56.0% to 43.9%. This is particularly stunning as hers is a district composed of nearly 50% registered Democrats. Barack Obama won the district by nearly 20 points in 2012 just ten months ago.
But, as you'll see in the CNN video below, Giron is completely unwilling to accept the fact that the voters of her district rejected her for her support of the anti-Second Amendment legislation she championed in the 2013 session of the Colorado legislature. According to the Denver Post, 20 percent of the voters who signed the recall petition were registered Democrats volunteering that Giron had become "arrogant and difficult to work with." That observation seems abundantly clear in the CNN interview below.
Voter suppression has become a favorite mantra of the Democrat Progressive left. As with a lot of their emotional arguments, however, the facts don't support their argument. For more, see A Line of Sight.comcontributing editor Brian Anderson's recent article, "Straight Talk about Voter I.D. Laws."
Does anyone at Townhall.com proof read articles before they are posted? It seems that less than 50% of the readers know the difference between "lose" and "loose." Any professional author should be embarrassed to misspell "lose" in an article.
Projection, Dims know they are cheating so they project their behavior on their opponents.
The Pueblo Chieftain has letters only on Sunday. Check the online edition letters tomorrow. I will be most entertaining, with a week of incoming locals chiming in.
Daily Kos pollster PPP sat on a poll showing Colorado recall strength
http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/09/ppp-sat-on-poll-showing-colorado-recall-strength/
We did a poll last weekend in Colorado Senate District 3 and found that voters intended to recall Angela Giron by a 12 point margin, 54/42. In a district that Barack Obama won by almost 20 points I figured there was no way that could be right and made a rare decision not to release the poll. It turns out we should have had more faith in our numbers becaue she was indeed recalled by 12 points.
They voted for something the people did not want. That’s what happened. Where is the voter suppression they speak of?
Thanks for that
This giron whore can get ready to be heavily suppressed in 2014 and 2016.
I always think, Loose Moose!
That loser, Sandra Fluke, is loose.
This article brings to mind one of my pet peeves.
Whether we like to admit it or not, those of us who are opposed to the Democrat/Progressive agenda are, in one way, unwittingly facilitating their survival.
There really is only one way to thoroughly defeat them and to do that we have to acknowledge a truth. Democrat/Progressives HATE anyone who opposes them; they HATE people who cling to traditional values, go to Christian churches and who otherwise oppose any of their crackpot agenda.
Knowing that then should lead “right” minded individuals to the conclusion that the only way to effectively deal with this growing slime mold is to isolate it and starve it. Sad to say, that requires more work than most seem willing to do. Its all well and good to read Sultan Knish blogs and other such news/web sites, but the “work” that needs be done involves getting off the couch and doing some homework and putting some work into the process of 1) identifying who the Democrats are, at work, in your community, in your neighborhood, in your family, in the business establishments you do business with, then 2) you isolate them with social and business shunning and shaming. I’ve actually done that and it shocks and surprises them, then finally it angers them and that’s when I know I’m winning because once they’re angry they become irrational in their spittle-flecked nutty attacks and then become even more ostracized, even by the low information types as they become identified as nutty ideologues; then 3) you starve them by refusing to buy their products, shop in their stores, tipping them at restaurants, etc.
And that folks is the hard truth! Unless and until we are willing to go on the offensive, we’re going to forever fight a losing rear-guard action.
The one I HATE even worse is flipping “then/than”. I’ve seen it in newspaper articles, professionally type set novels, instruction sheets, magazines, and God knows where else. Then is a time; than is a choice. How effing hard is that?
Don’t worry, they’ll release the ones that say what they want.
knot many profesionalls hear.
Did you ever see the study that people with superior brains can read meanings of words with only the first and last letters correct?
Like we don’t have more to worry about than spelling....What about important things like punctuation?? :-)
The task would be much easier if we could just brand them with a scarlet “L” on their foreheads.

I called them out on it.
A professional wordsmith should know the difference. I usually skip the rest of the article when I see it from a “professional.” I tolerate it when I’m reading posts downthread.
It’s just you. Reid should have lost his most recent election, yet won it anyway because the GOPe decided it would rather have him than a Tea Partier. There were several Senate seats deliberately lost over the past couple of cycles.
Dems still cheat at all levels they can get away with.
Never mind that the polls predicted the result precisely. The pollster didn’t publish the results until after the election because he didn’t like them.
It’s about an aversion to fascism.
As someone else said, it does take some time and planning to organize all the buses and purchase enough alcohol and cigarettes to keep their voters motivated.
