If they achieve power (and they are close)the world will see miserable poverty, a draconian restriction of human rights, outright killing within countries, famines, war and horrible pollution.

Liberal intellectuals want to believe their theories even when arguments prove otherwise - if they would listen. Unfortunately many must be proven wrong through experience. Conservatives have known all along that carbon tax is nothing but a money generating scheme. Thank goodness there are still some who learn from their mistakes.
