If Shellie Zimmerman wants her marriage to George Zimmerman to end quietly, she should avoid holding press conferences that become disasters.
She should avoid press conferences in general, but that one Wednesday? Ouch.
How bad was that conference with Shellie's attorney Kelly Sims?

"Long and at times bizarre," WESH-Channel 2 anchor Syan Rhodes said. WESH anchor Jim Payne found it "one of the most bizarre displays I think I have ever seen."
Robin Roberts of ABC's "Good Morning America" called the press conference "rambling." ABC's Matt Gutman described Sims' performance as "often theatrical" at 40 minutes.
Sims' melodramatic presentation included references to the Batmobile, Siegfried & Roy, Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry and the Tower of Terror.
"Zimmerman's wife fires back," "GMA" headlined the story.
The consensus: She and her attorney missed the target....

I suspect she may be trying to cash in as an anti-Zimmerman spokesperson. The liberal press may take her up on it.
Shellie thinks her fifteen minutes are just starting. Somebody should show her the memo.
She wants her marriage to “end quietly”?? She might want to stop the TV interviews, then.
the fame whore has been watching too much Bravo.
Shellie makes me question George’s judgement. Anyone can make a mistake, but just sayin’... I had a marriage that went bad once a long time ago, but we were honorable about it.
Don’t take the shovel away from Shellie. She like to dig.
I don’t understand why shellie had to get permission from George to pick up her things from her own father’s home. Why did George show up? I thought George was living in a trailer.
George is living at the house.
George was living in his FIL’s home with his permission from other reports that I’ve read.
he needs to move on and out. That’s her familys home. That’s awkward.
I am not surprised both George and wife have been driven nuts.
I do not understand how this girl can call a news conference and get the media to show up.
I do not understand why Zimmerman’s divorce is national news.
I do not understand why it was national news to hear that Zimmerman got a speeding ticket.
Media bias is not only putting a liberal spin on things, but also, the news judgement in deciding what stories to cover, and deciding what things are not newsworthy.
Some news directors somewhere, decided that this girl’s press conference was newsworthy.
Some news directors decided that it was headline news that Zimmerman was speeding.
Why do they push stories involving Zimmerman, one wonders.
Your questions answer themselves.
Well, that explains why there weren’t time or resources to cover the approx. 1 million bikers in DC in the media. With huge breaking news like this to cover, something just had to give.
People don’t understand what it’s like to be pounded by the national press day after day. It will drive any one insane. Especially someone who has no real strong support outside of some bewildered family members. I remember what Linda Tripp went through.
Remind me ... things turn out pretty good for Job in the end, right? Even a new wife?
They push the various problems this poor soul is experiencing to exacerbate the anti Zimmerman fanaticism alive in the black demographic and to pressure Zimmerman. The hope is Zimmerman can be pushed enough to do something really stupid and be put in jail with the general jail population where he can be “offed!”
But, isn’t the media supposed to report the news, not make and create news events????? Maybe I’m hopelessly naive. After all, we’re talking about liberals here, as liberals run the media.
Things did turn out well for Job at the end. Even an implicit statement that his original ten children (the ones that died while they were having a party in the eldest son's double-wide trailer tornado magnet) 'live'... But it doesn't actually say that he got a new, and improved, wife at the end. I'll grant that his first (only?) wife was pretty bitter -- but given that she'd also lost her ten children, her wealth, and her husband was leprous (or smitten with some dreadful disease) - I can give her pass for having gone mad. So yes, Job had ten new children, and he was blessed after his season of trials and pain, but I don't believe it is explicitly stated that he got a new wife. Maybe wife number one was also blessed and recovered from her insanity.
