Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Thursday said “anarchists” have taken over Congress.

Reid (D-Nev.) said Tea Party Republicans are preventing progress on an energy efficiency bill by offering amendments on ObamaCare and other unrelated issues.

“We’re diverted totally from what this bill is about. Why? Because the anarchists have taken over,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “They’ve taken over the House and now they’ve taken over the Senate.

Harry, your Democrats are in charge of the Senate. Your party runs the Senate. You are the Senate Majority Leader. You are saying you have no power over what happens in your legislative chamber???

Is this the new liberal narrative? That barbarians have taken over both ends of Congress??? And so anything that happens will be blamed on Republicans, particularly Tea Party Republicans????

The American people are beginning to awaken! One tends to be groggy and ‘anarchistic’ when woken from a deep slumber.

What is lacking in today’s body politic is a philosophy that can be advanced BECAUSE of the veiled threats of doom by the opposition.

Without that “Damn the torpeodes! Full speed ahead!” philosophy, the meekest member of the opposition can turn us into sniveling, sobbing, cowards such as Boehner and McConnell.

For example, the manipulating, fear-mongering, threat of doom and gloom promoted by the supporters of Government harm to our Republic that a certain Republican action would “shutdown the Government” SHOULD be a clarion call for Republicans to shut down the Government to right the wrong that the Government is currently doing.

To not shut down the Government is to support continuation of the wrong that the Government is currently doing.

Whatever wrong is being protected by the supporters of Governmental wrong, SHOULD BE our signal that we should focus on undoing what they are trying to protect.

What is required to right the wrong is known to all Warriors: THE COURAGE OF ONE’S CONVICTIONS.

Instead, today in our sorry body politic, these are times of whimpering, timid, compromise-away-one’s-values in the false hope of achieving the equivalent of a 1960’s group hippie hug.

These are times when we wait silently for a larger than life, Warrior to swoop in on a white horse and make everything nicey-nice again.

These are times when the majority of people who vote choose politicians that promise pie-in-the-sky to them, and then these same politicians get put in charge of increasing the debt burden on our Grandchildren’s descendants.

Thus, we have a self-caused burden of a virtual cycle of debt to our descendants caused by promises that we choose to vote for.

These are the times when the obvious solution to these problems can be seen by “The Man in the Glass.”

BTW, look up the above quoted poem for suggestions to improve one’s response-ability.

Reid: 'Anarchists have taken over'

If this were true, Reid would be more than a little fearful. As it turns out, he is leading the "cluster" that is the Senate...

Hey Harry, just be thankful that the shooting hasn't started yet. Now shut your mouth.

Signed,

He’s upset that Mitch McConnell has absolutely no influence over the principled and determined conservatives who are just ruining his experience in the senate!

Reid and McCain thought they ruled the Senate.
Both of them went off meds this week and clearly they are worried.

Fascists hate anarchists.

They hate those who stand for liberty as well, and seem unable to tell the difference.

The ruling class’s definition of an anarchist is anyone who doesn’t want the ruling class making any and every personal decision for him.

Reid is starting to sound like the guy on the floor of a padded room shouting to the orderlies that bugs are crawling all over him.

Judicial Watch Announces List of Washington’s “Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians”

•Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL)
•Secretary of Energy Steven Chu
•Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and UN Ambassador Susan Rice
•Attorney General Eric Holder
•Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL)
•Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ)
•President Barack Obama
•Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV)
•Rep. David Rivera (R-FL)
•Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV):

A July 30, 2012, headline in the Las Vegas Review-Journal alerted Nevadans to Sen. Harry Reid’s latest influence-peddling scandal – this one involving ENN Energy Group, a Chinese “green energy” client of the Nevada law firm of which Reid’s son, Rory, is a principal.

As Reuter’s reported on August 31, 2012, “Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada. His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”

“Well below appraised value” is a considerable understatement. The deal Rory Reid put together for the firm his dad brought to town saw ENN purchase the site for just $4.5 million – a mere fraction of separate appraisals that valued the property at $29.6 million and $38.6 million. Even with all of that, however, the project has failed to move forward as rapidly as Harry and Rory Reid would like – for the simple reason that there is currently no market in Nevada for the green energy ENN claims it could produce.

But, of course, funneling money to the Reid family is nothing new for the Senate Majority Leader. As the Washington Post reported in a February 7, 2012, story titled “Public projects, private interests:”

In 2004 and 2005, the Senate majority leader secured $21.5 million to build a bridge over the Colorado River, linking the gambling resort town of Laughlin, Nev., with Bullhead City, Ariz. Reid owns 160 acres of undeveloped land in Bullhead City.
