The misogyny on this thread shows ignorance and ugliness
The video is pathetically amusing. It is very sad to think that arrogance can reach so high and yet so low at the same time and yet one cannot help but laugh at such gibberish as she spews.
The misogyny on this thread shows ignorance and ugliness
Really, because if you cannot make fun of yourself (am a woman with womanly parts that one day will dry up), then you are just as dead inside as the whining reporter.
I make fun of myself. I strive for humility
To join in and make fun of femininity in an ugly light is not humor, not dignified, and it’s degrading
Who knows? I do know that menopause can bring out bizarre behavior in a split second.
I know some women that use menopause/periods/PMS as a valid “excuse” to act all wonky when they are dealing with one person. There are also men who use a physical issue to treat other differently. So this behavior is not confined to one gender. It is caused by people not being raised right, when I was raised i was raised that you don’t let your own personal pain/discomfort become an excuse for treating people like shit.
I get the feeling that this Shatzman broad didn’t really want to be covering the “routine meeting of the West Boca Community Council.”
Add in a little criticism of her, ahem, ‘profession’ and she blows up and is promptly out of there for a double scotch and water.
Hope they got room for Matthews, Olbermann, Maddow and fat Ed.
Actually, if you listen to the whole thing, the council member is even nuttier than she is, including his rant against the tea party.
Reminds me of Marci Darcy!
Humor only — not related to article.
Oh, making fun of women.
I see.
Yep. Feel free to make a fat white guy joke if you like.
No. I think I’m doing just fine
“But I dont think you know what PMS is. So please stay out if it”
Wow. That sounds a lot like “it’s a black thing, you wouldn’t understand.”
I had to testify at a divorce trial where the wife was totally schizoid due to menopause. So, I do have some first hand knowledge of the effects.
And I would never advise anyone to “stay out” of posting an opinion. Very poor form, and assumptive as well.
“It is caused by people not being raised right, when I was raised i was raised that you dont let your own personal pain/discomfort become an excuse for treating people like shit.”
Totally agree. And I’m lucky enough to be married to a woman who feels exactly the same way. We’ve only been together for 34 years, so I guess something is working out.
Posts 14 & 25 were to what you referred and went way off subject.
If you want to intrude go ahead, staying out of it was advice meant to keep from appearing very silly.
Now here you are bringing racism in and digging deeper when you could’ve taken my advice and avoided further intrusion suit yourself. But no one is really listening
I don’t deal with misogyny by behaving like a radical feminist, so, no.
Besides, some of my very favorite people are fat white guys.
“Now here you are bringing racism in and digging deeper when you couldve taken my advice and avoided further intrusion suit yourself. But no one is really listening”
Wow again.
I see. You are the only one here in this discussion who has a valid perspective. Anything remotely to the contrary you have characterized as misogyny or degrading. Men need not apply.
And I should take your advice for my own good, to avoid appearing silly or intrude even further?
No, thanks. I don’t give people I don’t know advice on what to think, feel, behave, or post online. I reserve the right to be in charge my own actions.
And isn’t it ironic, that with your recent posts, you’ve now aligned yourself with the “journalist” who flipped out?
It’s rather amusing the males around here make fun of women, considering they have people like Chris Matthews as part of their gender.
I guess we could chaulk his behavior up to male menopause. It’s often very prevalent on FR.
Actually, if you take the time to read the posts on this thread or at least the ones you’re responding to, you will see that my surprise is that from the first few posters, the thread was aligning itself with men of the press, pointing out not that it’s no surprise that the wacky journalist was a lib, but that it was a woman.
Do you have a simple answer to my first question?
Weirdo
