Two-thirds of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents said they want their member of Congress to keep their promises and stick to principles as opposed to compromise in a bipartisan way to get things done.
From Obamacare on down, sticking to principle is where the Republican base is today, said David Kirby, vice president of opinion research at FreedomWorks. Its an example of how off the Republican establishment is from their base.
Social issues have become less salient to GOP voters: 41 percent said gay marriage is not one of their top 10 issues. Asked about abortion, about one-third said it is one of the top three issues they care about; another third said it is not in the top three but somewhere in the top 10 and the final third said it is not one of their top 10 concerns.

Yep. They are not conservative, they sound conservative on economics but give them some time to evolve. I am convinced when they got power it would quickly become everyone owning the products of their labor... sound familiar?
M/GL: You’re one-trick ponies that will/can NEVER open your mind to anything other than your own reality, no matter HOW many threads you fail to read/comprehend nor how compelling those arguments are against your own political dogma
NO (L) here, nor anywhere I have ever been/visited/read/etc. has promoted ANY ‘sex in public, incest, etc.’ as you state. I’m sure there IS someplace on the ‘net that would promote what you’ve written, but it would as fringe as the abortion doctors killers of the religious Right. Sick of writing this? I’m sick of reading the same B.S. from your little cabal.
OD, you may just as well give it up (posting/replying) to the few around here and stop banging your head against the wall. How’s that proverb “None so blind...”? Few here on FR like that, for sure; those scared of Freeom/Liberty or so enamored with themselves and/or their religion they believe they can foist the same upon the rest ‘for our own good’.
So people who would happily slash the federal government by 95% are afraid of freedom and liberty because they bash incest, gay marriage and kiddie porn?
Such talk upsets the poor wibbertarians.
They want to know why we can’t along when they bash us as big government nanny staters for only wanting to shrink the fedgov by 95%.
I remember you, the guy who lives down the road from me , like I told you last time over another one of your communist rants, we’ll meet up and you can discuss your views and give me insults then
they can’t answer questions but would rather jump up and down like a spoilt brat ranting about no Govt and giving out insults.
Maybe he and I will meet seeing as he;s up the road from me and then he can give his insults to me then, as well as mention his communist views.
Ever wondered why they don’t go on the lefts websites and have them change to suit them.
Have you ever gone deeply into the bowels of libertarian websites? Not the ones meant for public consumption, but where they talk to like-minded people without worrying about making their weirdness palatable?
There is nothing conservative about libertarians, they are not friends of liberty they are hand in hand with the most messed up leftist social trends you can imagine.
Yes, they can moan and protest all they want but they do want to “decriminalize” kiddie porn (which also means legalizing child sex by default) and those other perversions. Putting a camera up doesn’t make it any less a form of child abuse if you ask me.
And that is just one issue.
No I am not. They lost me at pro-choice.
never been on any of them nor liberal sites for a long time but if you know or have a link to one of their nutty sites could you give it me please , privately of course.
It’s been a very long time but I have clashed with them often enough on Facebook. I might do some digging tonight to show you.
Also, I remember finding defunct websites advocating all of this kind of stuff and worse. AT least some of them admitted to being “social liberals” as they discuss when it becomes to sleep nude with a nude child (answer: when the child becomes uncomfortable)... in other words desensitize the kid enough and he/she is all fair game to them.
It was a long time ago, I shared them with Morgana at one point.
thanks and what you say does not surprise me, wolf in sheeps clothing and all that
and the perverts keep spreading.
bump
It’s their religion too apparently
Yeah, and you’ve been warm and friendly. GFY.
Really they need to get together with the liberals and go bowling or something. They have more in common than they want to believe. Maybe that’s why they hate them so rabidly. They see their love of big government micro managing the lives of others reflected in them and it almost pops a blood vessel in their heads.
well , now you mention it.
Those were never the topics of discussion, but thanks for playing.
As to your last statement: If the 5% is still anti-A1S8, hell YES I’ll continue to bash ‘em as ‘big gov’t’ anti-Freedom/Liberty. Quacks like a duck....
LOL. It’s sad to know that the Left never has this type of ‘problem’. They have a final goal and they all huddle to focus on obtaining that goal.
The ‘Right’, from what they same, being 40%, would NEED other (semi)like minded peoples to push them over the 50% threshold....But they’d rather use the smallest of differences to keep under 50%; but bitch when they keep themselves in the minority. Even noting the core of each others ideals are IDENTICAL, someone else believes XYZ, well, we can’t be having THEM in the ‘circle of trust’ :P Sheer stupidity.
Unfort. they can’t even keep on the same topic, but spew the same B.S. from some fringe “(L)” website or blog. Hell, I’ve seen the (L) from 25 yrs ago as ‘proof’, when the current platform clearly shows the opposite. *sigh* C’est le vie.
Yeah, I’ve decided the next time I get an angry screed full of cut and pastes from the (L)ibertarian Party platform, I’m just going to hang Fred Phelps around their neck and demand they defend his positions.
What's up with that? I certainly don't spend a lot of my time thinking about deviant sexual practices, and never feel the need to drag them into a discussion of some other topic.
