Any wind still left in the sails of gun control advocates likely died—at least for now—when Colorado voters successfully recalled two state senators on Sept. 10. This stern punishment came after lawmakers in the Mile High state toughened regulations on background checks and limited the size of ammo magazines.
It was a rout. Billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg led a team of deep-pocketed out-of-towners in trying to rescue state senate president John Morse and his colleague Sen. Angela Giron, both Democrats. But the grassroots rebellion, fanned and funded by the National Rifle Association and other conservative groups, was more motivated. Said Tim Knight, a leader of the uprising: “Tonight is a victory for the people of the state of Colorado, who have been subject to the overreach of a Democrat agenda on guns, taxes and accountability.”
Colorado has been a success story for liberals in recent years as migration and immigration swelled Front Range cities like Denver and Boulder.

We need to tie every radically left democrat to the gun grabbers in ALL areas of the nation-this includes that Mr. Cuccinelli SHOULD immediately hit Terry McAuliffe with everything he has on his anti-gun STANCES!!
That's a lib lie...it was a completely grassroots "David-vs-Goliath" effort to get rid of the two gungrabbers. The NRA only played a minor supporting role, if that.

Which is why the GOP never got very enthusiastic about ousting the two Democrats. As Knight told one interviewer: “The Republicans don’t want anything to do with us because they think, ‘Next they’ll recall us’.”
The Left is comprised of various cults, the gun control cult being mainly urban scared stiff whites who have the support of the wealthy elite. Every other left cult is basically armed, but since they are tit babies to the elite they accept gun control. Given a chance though they will turn against the Bloomie/Shumies in a heartbeat.
It is true that the NRA only played a minor supporting role, and the liberals played up the role of the NRA with lies. But does that matter to the low information voter? The low information voter does not like to deal with facts and common sense. They just want their bennies.

Absolutely correct. They should have had signs prepared and installed all across the Commonwealth today. They should have TV spots appearing today as well. The sooner, the hotter and more of a mark it will make.

Great thought, if our politicos want to push blanket immigration amnesty, we should recall or put a good primary candidate to take their place as our representatives.

Point taken. However, Texas doesn’t have that Rocky Mountain High touristy downhill-ski enviro-weenie natural bee-you-tee so maybe the Californicators will move elsewhere.
By the way, I can say that ‘cause I was born and raised in Denver.
Colorado, like California, has a great deal of natural attraction but I WLL NEVER MOVE BACK THERE. Texas ‘til I die!
