No sir. It is realism. Russia is our former enemy, but it childish to think we, the United States, can act with impunity internationally like selling US arms, etc. and simultaneously expect that everyone should be against Russia, or China, or North Korea when THEY do it. Pragmatism is not apologism. The fact is that much of the entire free world are global arms sellers (Norway, Sweden, South Africa, Israel, France, Germany, Britain, are just a few), and Muslim countries have been their best customers.

You miss the point then. Selling advanced air defense weapons to a country run by crazy religous zealots who want to build a nuclear weapon and use it on Israel is like thinking selling whiskey to kids driving cars is smart. Your logic is that of the Liberal who cannot appreciate that sometimes America’s enemies really are wrong. Putin is against freedom in Russia and for arming America’s enemies abroad. Wake up.
