First, California Dems blithely believing that they can write (and pass) laws that genuinely restrict responsible gun ownership and use now must know that gun-owning voters are energized (and organized). One hopes that the nonsensical proposed laws in Cali will now go away. (We'll see.)
Second, Congressional RINOs just might feel voter support being re-distributed (ha ha) away by energized GOPers (and right-thinking Dems). I don't think that this is too much of a stretch. There is palpable momentum in the grass roots activism and recall votes; and, it is quite catchy.
THE issue for 2014 just might be Second Amendment preservation. All candidates need to be accountable for previous votes and statements..
I have a lot of gut feels about politics and my ones for 2012 were all wrong, but IMHO I agree and go one step further it IS the issue in 2014, Obama will be totally unfeathered if he gets the House and will pass Draconian Gun Control Legislation. It is the metaphorical last stand for the 2nd admendment, and quite frankly Boehner and McConnell are no longer up for the job of saving or growing their respective bodies. We will have to drag their sorry @$$es across the line one more time like we did in 2010, and that makes me want to scream...
How about if we take that steam and apply it to Benghazi?
I’m hoping the bikers in DC make it WELL known that Americans are livid over the games that whole city is playing rather than reaching answers about the deaths of the Benghazi 4. They deserve better than that. The whistleblowers deserve protection. The witnesses deserve to be heard. And those who obstruct.... well, we all know what they deserve. And hopefully they will know soon too.
This is a big event in the political change taking place between the 2012 and 2014 elections. As I have stated previously, the R party is casting off conservatives and genuflecting before the President and the D party. Now they are being given a piece of strong evidence that what they read and hear inside the DC beltway may not represent the reality outside the beltway. The R party is running from conservatives who are growing in strength and popularity. The R party is running into an empty field and will have to scramble to catch up.
