The OLDER faces are the ones who have been through Viet Nam and Desert Storm, and they KNOW what fighting for freedom means in a very real way.
Instead of berating their age, you should praise their patriotism and willingness to continue to fight for America.
I’m not berating their age.
I’m mourning the country they grew up in.
It no longer exists.
When these older faces pass there will be NO one to remember what it was like to be free.
That they’re all old saddens me to no end.
