House Republican leaders said Tuesday they will try to force the Democratic-led Senate to vote on defunding President Barack Obama's health-care law before the House will agree to enact a stopgap government-funding measure.
"Our goal here is not to shut down the government," House Speaker John Boehner told reporters in Washington. "Our goal is to cut spending and to stop Obamacare."

everal Republicans expressed opposition because they said they see the strategy as non-binding.
"Every member of the conference said they're going to do everything they can to defund Obamacare, and our leadership said in there they know this strategy will not defund Obamacare," Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kan., said in an interview.
Michigan Republican Justin Amash said in a message posted on Twitter : "I do not support the #hocuspocus plan that doesn't really defund #Obamacare."

Here is something you wont hear on talk radio:
Bohner ran again Jan 3 after that tax vote, the one that was supposedly the big betrayal raising our taxes.
But not one ran against him after that. Not one.
More telling none of the talk radio host constitutional purists were calling on any of them specifically to run against Bohner to replace him . Only I ALONE was challenging them (House members) myself the week before BOTH votes. I ALONE saw the scam clearly back then.
No one will take Boners job, call your favorite pet house hero and ask him to run against him as speaker, I dare you. He will never return the call.

Get on the phone and call your favorite House member to run as Speaker and tell us what he said,

You should challenge them (your favorite house members) to oppose him as Speaker by running for it themselves now , this losing and then scape-goating whining stuff is long past old.

Its seems so as he is Bohners main mouthpiece.
BTW : Back last year or so libs made up a myth that Cantor was threatening to replace Bohner if Bohner didnt do ‘the rabid rights’ bidding, holding him hostage like.
I lib here just reminded me of that theme they used to repeat.
Of course we know that Cantor like Ryan is just another tool and he may not even want that job, unless Obama’s polls drop and stay down near congresses ~ 20s. Then its easy.
Cantor wants to repass that voting rights section,
Good point. I should have made that clear in my post. Thanks.
yep i remember your commenting to the fact that NOBODY wanted boners job [and the bs that it required], therefore NOBODY would sign up for a chance at getting it...
I figured those comments would come in handy.
Every day its like :’I cant believe that Bohner will....”
They cant really be shocked about the same pattern every day.
It's getting really difficult to find any "heroes" in either party. Several GOP house members never cease complaining about Obama's policies, and yet are trying to give citizenship to those who would vote overwhelmingly for someone like Obama or Hillary. (Some seem to be waiting to see which side is ahead so they can't be trusted.) Let's call them and ask why they think they can have it both ways, and let's vote for good primary challengers if there are any.
