David Axelrod Gives Obama, Not Putin, Credit For Assad Turning Over Chemical Weapons
Townhall.com ^ | September 10, 2013 | Katie Pavlich

Here's your non-shocker of the day. Former Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod is giving President Obama, not Russian President Putin, credit for Syrian President Assad's agreement to turn over chemical weapons.

If POTUS hadn't threatened credible military response, does anyone believe Russia and Syria would be coming forward now? No time to falter. — David Axelrod (@davidaxelrod) September 10, 2013

President Obama is still scheduled to make his case for a "military attack" on Syria tonight from the White House, but with the news breaking this morning the Russians and Syrians have reached a deal, you can bet his speech will be all about how his threats of a tiny, very small attack led to diplomacy.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

http://live.reuters.com/Event/Syria_9

@susanheavey reports Senate Majority Leader Reid says “The only reason Russia’s seeking an alternative to military action is that President Obama has made it plain and clear that the United States will act if we must.”

And that’s just the beginning. The libs are starved for signs of character from BO and they’re not going to find them. They know it. This is going to be unpleasant.

Let Obama have the credit. Better than having the narcisstic out-smarted one wanting to get even.

Everyone with an IQ above 80 realizes that Obama was played.

Give Obama credit, if he'll take it.

Because the Obama Doctrine now appears to be that you can use WMD's against your own people a couple of times without consequence if you give the leftover weapons to the Russians.

The very same people that credit Gorbachev, and not Reagan for ending the Cold War.

And the Low Information Voters will lap it up like good little idiots.

I just don’t see us recovering from this.

Going to love this, because everyone sees where this is going.

Russia insists it oversees Syrias removal of chemical weapons with some friendly countries monitoring.

Assad then lets another puppy off the chain that kills several thousand. He then blames Al Queada, the US supported Al Queada with WMD use.

But, but, Obama blamed Syria. The rest of the world ha the YouTube of Al Queada. Oh my, what’s the MSM to do?

I cannot wait.

The only surprise is that it took a little longer than I expected for some liberal mouthpiece to come to that “conclusion”.

It's his job, to put lipstick on a pig!

LOL! Axelrod is a fool and he thinks the rest of us are just like him.

I suspect the press is falling for this line ...

On Laura’s show this a.m.:

Congressman Buck McKeon (R) CA, was in a classified briefing, yesterday Sept. 9th, with Susan Rice and John Kerry.

He asked them, “What about the Russian proposal that Syria gives up their Chemical Weapons?”

Susan Rice dismissed the possibility with “All the Russians ever do is talk, they never act.”

Kerry said “That’s not very likely”.

Moments later and down the street, Obama’s response to the same question was, “We’re open to that.”

They don’t communicate internally and they have no plan…..

BUT NOW….They’re claiming credit for this brilliant, move to avoid war……

And their compliant media will lead the parade.

Yes, Obama is a genius. And Kerry, too. Cutting edge strategists the both of them.......like greased lightening....fast on their feet /s ....These two clown acts got bounced and pounced upon. Apparently, thugs are the only ones who can in any way manage or check the Chief of BS. Certainly Boehner hasn’t the daring to cross 'em.

Nice take---and don't forget Benghazi screw-up Susan Rice. Now, Ohoho announced publicly that he’d explain to the nation why enforcing the WMD “red line” is (ahem) important. He also marshaled his most credible (cackle) minions to go out and sell the strike.

Benghazi screw-up Susan Rice is pumping her resume like crazy---being sent to:

<><> give a speech about Syria to the New America Foundation,

<><> speak to the Congressional Black Caucus

<><> participate in a classified briefing that the administration will provide to members of Congress, and,

<><> participate in another classified briefing for Congress on Wednesday.

The latter occurs on the twelfth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S. homeland and the one year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the State Department and CIA facilities in Benghazi, Libya.

Susan's argument is that a strike is necessary b/c we have "exhausted" all other means.

I guess Putin did not get the memo.

I’m sure it was their unbelievably small, nothing of strike that scared them into submission. Truly delusional. What to watch tonight. Duck Dynasty or the Lame Duck.

Nothing has happened yet, so it is too soon to try this. Assad still has his chem weapons.
